@@bkukubo technically it can apply for all patterns. But now only formal tailoring classes teach this.

@@PatternStudio101 One more question about it Jin, I'm assuming that when sewing you should ease the back shoulder (the longer one) to the front shoulder so that there are no gathers but in the end the seam will be the same length? In which case should the front shoulder length used be the right shoulder length so that the back is a quarter inches larger that the front resulting in the right shoulder length in the end?

Absolutely you can use episode 42 sleeve pattern for this blazer. I'm going to upload another way of 2-piece sleeve pattern making once we complete the blazer. But you can do whichever way you want.

You make the back pattern before you make the front pattern. So you can measure the shoulder length from the pattern you made.
