I would like to know if Kalispell, Montana is safe from crime, murder and violence and is it a safe city ?

I don't live in Montana but I use neighborhood scout for crime statistics. Kalispell has 4.1 annual violent crimes per 1,000 residents against a national median of 4 and a Montana rate of 4.8. Kalispell has a property-crime rate of 24 per 1,000 residents vs. a national median of 19 and a Montana rate of 22. This equates with a crime index of 12, meaning Kalispell has a higher crime rate than 100 minus 12 or 88% of the cities surveyed in the US. I'm not sure what's going on. Missoula is a 5 as is Helena. The meth capital of the USA, Hemet, CA, is an 11. You ever been to Hemet, CA? Don't go. It's an 11 and Kalispell is a 12? I don't know what to think.

I guess there’s no homes under 500k that are half decent in Kalispell 😂…beautiful neighborhoods though
