I bet I know what Will talks about this week. Maybe a new resort with 300 homesites near the Lakeside Airport?

We have been looking at Montana. Coming from NH and was stationed in fort drum NY so I actually enjoy the harsh winters just hated the state itself. I also need it cold enough to make a back yard ice rink and enough land for a range.

I have watched non profits set aside land in trusts which can never be developed in my native state of California. Sadly, so much of the Western United States has been seen as a colony or playground by executives from back East and now including tech companies. My sympathies go with the cowboys. Private equities are already making much of the West unaffordable with their real estate investments.Of course their are other factors contributing to the lack of affordable housing but this is a big one, Montanans need to take a stand to defend their way of life.

Amazing scenery. As hazardous as I'm sure it can be in winter, I bet it has its own beauty too.

SQUATCHIE COUNTRY.....Oh Dicky Lake is so cool. The place is TINY, I was there in 2021 visiting a friend and not much going on there which is kind of cool. Indian Springs is super duper

Thanks for showing and giving market range. In the 60s I used to travel through here virtually every day we serviced furnaces for the whole state of Montana how much enjoyed the recap.

Thank you so much for your trip across Montana. As a fellow Montanan I miss it so much; but the Army pulled me away and I haven’t been back in years. I am originally from Miles City/Baker depending on which parent I was with but spent many days at Fort Peck fishing with the family; and all the towns in between; with high school sports. I always tell people; Montana is the Last Best Place on Earth. It doesn’t get any prettier that Montana

Heading across the highline to Grand Forks then another day south. Had a wonderful time in Eureka for 4 months. Sad we could not find any "affordable" property. Coming back in April and try again. Winter in Iowa isn't much different than winter in Montana other than our constant wind.

Awesome video!! My husband is an environmental scientist. He’s been sampling water this week on that exact route. He’s on his way back home. He stayed in Havre last night. He’s been to all of these towns. I haven’t. It’s fun to see where he talks about.

We took this drive from Whitefish to Eureka (per your recommendation) last summer. Even drove into Indian Springs. Very nice subdivision. Really beautiful area, especially Dickey lake. Downtown Eureka has some super cute shops. But we still like Flathead Valley the best :)
