The Flowfold Expedition briefcase is lightweight, Ecopak, and has a separate laptop compartments. It's a great bag for the office and everywhere else. The Mystery Ranch District Pro is another office/EDC option that is lightweight and versatile. Those are the bags that work for me for office use. These bags are briefcases with a strap. They are not backpacks or roll tops, which to me speaks not office ready.

Code of bell: on the workspace thingy"what this is gonna do" is overheat your laptop... Bad idea Timbuk2 and sfbags seem to have bit more office looking bags than that code of bell. Which is just black as thing going for it.
