Usually hate all the cries of ‘PURSE!’ for gender neutral messengers or slings, but I gotta admit, this is like classic woman’s purse, but with modern bag features like thicker straps, G hooks, and water resistance. Looks like a purse in terms of size, fit in the body, and organisation. Not saying that is a bad thing, each to their own.

Nice video gave me some suggestions not being shown. Especially like the black ember bag. A bit on the pricy side compared to others though. The Alpaka tech brief can also switch between strap or backpack style. Have you ever tried that one?

Thanks fellas! My ultra favourites this year have been my Tom Bihn Synik 22 combined with my Ulvö Hip Pack Medium from Fjallraven. It was the perfect hands free travelling experience!

It‘s a nice product, but flawed. My first one constantly slipped of the G-hook, the other one had the G-hook brake after just three weeks. Orbitkey replaced them each time, but for a product of this price range I expect better quality control and manufacturing.

Can this be considered a personal item bag when you travel (separate from your carry on)? I plan to put only tech pouch, toiletry, and laptop

Welcome back Roland! Miss you mate. My favourite EDC gear for 2024 is the Evergoods CTB26 OD Green. It is my first ever premium backpack and it was so fun to travel with it and it even fits under a seat in a budget airline AirAsia fully packed out. Honorable mention is the Bellroy Chimera Sling which I never thought in my lifetime I would snagged one brand new (I changed to the Dsptch Sling strap as the Chimera strap is overengineered imo). By now I'm loving my Black Ember Citadel R3 25 Max. Very comfortable and easy to use bag. But that Bellroy looks sharp, too.

I love my slim fold nano. Holds so much and it is so small.

Question. WHERE’VE YOU BEEN!?!?! What happened?! I’ve been looking for your videos! Like the new studio (very minimalist). I’m glad you’re back and looking forward to seeing you in 2025. The Evergoods CTB26 (420d) was my main carry for weekend travel. I commute regularly every weekend as my wife and I pastor in the Bronx, NY. For me it’s the pocket layout and material flexibility that keeps. I got a CTB20 for EDC and I’m planning on a CTB35 for extended weekend trips.

I'm sick of umbrellas in heavy winds popping around to the other side, so you have to turn around and use the wind to pop them back to normal. In the case of wind an umbrella should carry his human with the wind in a way that it helps them and doesn't hurt. So it should be designed that it's only breaking when there's expected harm to his human.

The perfect bookbag to me is the Oakley kitchen sink all black color way. The retail price is about 220 usd. But in my opinion its one of the most stylish and funtional bags of its time. Its 30 years old but the design still holds true.

The worst backpack ever. If you love you back and shoulders, stay away from this backpack.

All this waterproofing is ruined on the side zipper of the laptop compartment, right where waterproofing is really needed.
