Years ago, our family cat died and it left a hole in our hearts which to this day cannot really fill. About a month after we had to put him down, I was in my bedroom and thinking about Scat Cat (that was his name). All of a sudden I felt this little depression on my bed - right next to me. I could have sworn that a little animal had jumped up unto my bed to snuggle right beside me. I sat bolt upright and the depression lifted up and the bed was back to normal. Now I initially thought okay I am really missing my cat and I am really suggestible right now. A couple weeks later I was having a conversation with my mom. I don’t know how we got on to the topic, but she said that she would sometimes feel like Scat was still around and jump on the bed. She told me about her encounter that sounded exactly like my encounter. I said that I had experienced the same thing the other week! To this day I would like to believe my little buddy was just coming to say his final goodbye.

My grandma had the sweetest goldendoodle dog named biscuit that was always a sweetheart. She ended up passing away and I never got to say goodbye. Me and my girlfriend went over to my grandmas house a week after she passed and when we knocked we heard biscuit barking like she always would when we knocked on the door and my girlfriend heard it too. We told my grandparents and they just kind of laughed but I think she was saying goodbye for the last time because she would always greet us at the front window next to the door with a bark 😢

Apparently, when I and my brothers were very little, my Great Great Grandparents would sing us to sleep or tell us bedtime stories. They'd passed away before I was born (I'm the middle child). I only vaguely recalled them and didn't realize that they were ghosts. I know this happened because my Grandma told me. One day (still while I was little, kindergarden aged I think) I had asked who the nice old couple were that would tuck us in at night and then proceded to describe them to my Grandma and I'd evidently described her grandparents exactly without EVER having seen any pictures of them. Also, the songs and stories I recalled were the same ones SHE'D been told when she was a little girl. It didn't scare any of us and I forgot about these events years later until my Grandma brought it up again back when I was in high school (I'd been asking her if she'd ever seen any ghosts or something of the like.) She'd told me of several ghosts she had actually encountered and when I'd said that I'd never seen a ghost before she said, "yes you have." And then relayed the story I've just told you. If you'd like, I could tell you some of her other stories. She passed away several years ago, so I can't ask her for any extra details about these stories and I might not remember all the finer details given how long ago this was.

I had a cat that had to be put down, he was so attached to me, he greater me at the door every time I came home. He was very ill the vet said he wouldn't last long, after two weeks and he wasn't eating and refused water he looked miserable. He hated the Vet clinic and I didn't want him to die that way, but he didn't want to leave me either. So off to the vet clinic we go, the tech took him and he hissed at me for the first time in the 10 years I had him! I was crushed, felt I let him down. Several nights I would wake to see him sitting at the end of the bed watching me, letting me know he was fine, or his job of protecting me wasn't over.

I have had a few experiences but the two that got to me were: I was visited by my mother who had passed away telling me to take care of my sister who was mentally disabled. The dream was weird because I was supposed to go somewhere with that sister, and she was still in her night clothes. So, when I went outside to tell my mom she wasn't ready she said just take care of her and she hugged me, and I actually felt the hug. I woke up crying. A few weeks later we found out that sister had colon cancer. Also, my current condo I feel like is haunted because the hallway is always cold, I have seen shadows, and I woke up once and looked towards the hallway and saw a little girl go from the wall into the kitchen area. She looked at me and just disappeared. That was crazy.

When I was a kid I had a lot of imaginary friends who helped me cope with all the trauma I was going through. Fast forward to 2010, I was 19, living in Oregon when I heard a story on the news about a 2 year old boy who had been kidnapped from his tent in a campground in Arizona. Sylar Newton was his name. I was very intrigued by the case and began following the search updates closely. 8 days in, one night I saw one of my imaginary friends again. They told me Sylar had not been kidnapped, and that his foster mother had unalived him and hid his body in the desert. They told me to tell the searchers to look for birds in the sky to lead them to him. I couldn’t explain it, but I was 100 percent certain that I needed to do as the imaginary friend told me to. I contacted someone I knew was out searching and said what I was told to say. 7 days later they messaged me back. They said they had been about to call of the search, when they remembered the advice I gave them. Right then they decided to look up to the sky, and they spotted birds circling in the distance. They went there and found Sylar. The foster mother is in prison now.
@kylemckeon17 ай бұрын
So you basically are able to see and hear ghost? What did the police say to you after you told them where to look and you were right? I have seen 2 full body apparitions one night at work in 2011. So I know ghost are real. In the movies you would be the #1 suspect and nobody would believe you until they eventually had a ghostly encounter.
@AC-ow2zv7 ай бұрын
@@kylemckeon1 the police called it a lucky guess, and said anyone could reason that looking for birds in the sky is a good way to find a body. Police already suspected the foster mother but they were waiting to find his body to prove it. But the searcher who found him based on my advice swore that I made him a believer in the supernatural!
@ADwan835 ай бұрын
In no way am I trying to be funny, but everybody knows that birds circling overhead means something is dead on the ground right there….we all learn that as children. Did they not give you a hard time for telling them something everyone already knows? What information did you give them that was a lot more detailed that made them wait and until you said something about the birds before they used common sense and followed the birds? I’m sure it was hard to get them to take you seriously since this would be obvious to anyone with eyes. I’m sure you felt great about helping!!
@mark4m5572 ай бұрын
I was a skeptic before 2010. I heard so many stories about the supernatural and I thought it was BS. I’m a lot more open minded about it now. Within a few months of moving into a new home I started having unexplained things happen to me. I could have sworn that I seen an apparition of a little girl in my kitchen, lights in different rooms were coming on for a few seconds before going off with nobody but me in the house. I was hearing weird noises and sometimes I would hear my name being called. I wrote it off until everyone else started telling me that they were having the same experiences in that house.

@michellekrajcovic74249 ай бұрын
Yes. I bought a house in May 2021. Within 2 weeks of moving into the house, I noticed different sounds during the day and night and thought it was just a 65-year-old house settling and the wind blowing, etc. I came home one evening after work and found my boyfriend sound asleep in the bedroom and all my kitchen cabinets standing wide open. I thought maybe he had been looking for something and just didn't close the doors. I closed them and got ready for bed. Next morning was a saturday and when I got up, we were talking in the kitchen. He asked me what I was looking for when I got home from work. I looked at him puzzled and asked what he meant. He said when he got up that morning and went into the kitchen to make coffee, all the cabinet doors were standing wide open and they were canned goods lined up and stacked on each other on the counter of fruits and vegetables. Completely shocked and puzzled. I told him I did nothing of the sort and that when I came home, the cabinets were standing wide open and I thought the same thing of him. It kind of weirded me out. I immediately told him we needed to get some anointing oil and pray over the house. We did and I had a whole conversation with whomever was in the house and told them that it was my house now and we could live peaceably as long as they did not cause any further problems. The house has been quiet and still since. When I spoke to my real estate agent about the strange events, that's when she let me know she had found out that the actual owner of the home had passed away in the bedroom i sleep in and his son is who sold the house. Once I found the man's name, I came into the house and addressed him by name and told him his time what the house was done. that it's my time and I promise to take care of the house. I told him I love the house and that he is welcome to stay as long as he does not cause problems or scare me or my boyfriend. Again, things have been quiet since.

In England it’s not uncommon for houses that are 400 - 600 years old plus to change hands. I’m not just talking huge historic country estates but little medieval cottages which you still find abundantly in small hamlets across the counties of our country. Think Godrics hollow on Harry Potter. Luckily my house I live in is only 90 years old and only 2 families have lived here. The older the house the more energy both positive and negative the building absorbs so imagine how goosebumps feels in a medieval period house with history like that?

Yep, I've had one paranormal experience. About 8 years ago we moved out of London into a surrounding county as my children had been born and my wife and I wanted more space. We found the perfect home, moved in and settled quickly. Soon after I started to notice certain things occurring in specific parts of the house, temperature changes in the loft space, an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the kitchen and other weird phenomenon but put it down to me being weird. Nothing ever felt sinister, just a bit "off". One night my wife and I were getting ready for bed, when she had to retrieve something from the spare bedroom, she returned to the bathroom, where I was, with a frightened look on her face and proceeded to explain the when she tried to open and close the spare bedroom door, something was holding it from the other side. The door wasn't stuck fast, there was some give to the motion, exactly as you'd expect if someone was holding it. This completely freaked me out and I sung like a canary, explaining all the situations I thought I had experienced, which i had previously not told her about to avoid frightening her. One sleepless night later, we arranged for someone to come and bless the house. This individual visited, did some stuff to do with sage and explained that she felt something in the house, it wasn't menacing but was curious. Whatever it was was hanging around, not sure what to make of us... she described him as an old man, corduroy and v neck styling and when she explained that we were a loving family and would respect the property, she had an overwhelming feeling of footprints in the sand walking away from her, as if departing. We've not had any issues since. I have no reason to doubt this individual, we know her well and she is completely rational with no reason to lie. I've since done some research and my property was built on the site of an old pig farm. They could be connected but we'll never know for sure. I am a sceptic but find this stuff very interesting. I know what happened and it definitely wasn't normal.

OMG I experienced the hand thing when I was 5 or 6 years old and I'll never forget it! My mother and I had just moved into a tiny efficiency apartment within this creepy old Victorian house in an area known to be very well-haunted (Cape May, NJ, USA). I was laying down/half sitting up on the sofa, petting our cat, when I started to fall asleep. I awoke to a feeling of being pinched hard on my hip, the one facing the inside of the sofa. I watched a hand, pale and slender, slowly emerge from the crevice where the sofa back meets the sofa cushions. It came out slowly and went back down quickly when I started screaming. My mother looked and there was a red mark on my little hip. She was equally freaked out, to the point she even went downstairs and knocked on the apartment below us, to all of they'd experienced anything strange in the building before. An old lady lived there alone and didn't even look surprised when my mom told her what I thought I saw....just mumbled about it being an old house in an old town. Creeps me out over 3 decades later.

I tell this story knowing people will see it as suspect given the setting of it happening. I worked at a haunted house to raise money for a charity that worked to find a cure for MS. It was a fairly popular one in our city. I worked as several characters over the years I did this. One year I am working in a blacklight maze area. We used to have kids who would come through and ask us if we needed water to stay hydrated through the night. One night I am near the entrance of my area to see if I could spot the next group coming through...I see, what I thought was one of those kids come through a hidden door they use to sneak in without having to walk the entire course. I lean forward to try and hear them ask me a question and they go right through me. I got this dark feeling and the overwhelming need to get the hell out of there took ahold of me. My friends see me taking my costume off and not even bothering to remove my makeup and asked me what I was doing. I didn't want to stop long enough to explain to them what had happened...The next day I am explaining what happened and they too said they saw one of those kids just seem to disappear but they assumed they had used one of the hidden doors. I knew for a fact they hadn't used one when they walked right through me and everything in me was like, "NOPE!"" So I made a hasty retreat out of the building...never went back. The time I had spent working there was fun...many laughs at the expense of patrons and ourselves when props or whatnot wouldn't work right. Funny things happening when we spot family members coming through...all of that meant nothing to me after that night I had the ghost or demon kid walk right through me...every hair on the back of my neck stood up straight as I was trying to figure out what had just occurred. No way that kid went by me as I took up pretty much the entire passage when I stepped out to lean in to hear what they had to say...again I know many will just blow it off as where I was working, but I went in knowing I may see weird things happen and funny things happen...That...that was something completely different and my fight or flight kicked in as I could not make sense of what I saw.

My ex-husband died several years ago. I visited his grave often and just talked to him. I brought flowers on his birthday, and saw that someone else had already been there. There were three mylar balloons - a smiley face, a star shape, and a square "Happy Birthday". All had long ribbons and the ends were tied around a good sized rock so they wouldn't blow away. It was March after all. I stood there talking to him and a strong gust of wind came and blew all 3 balloons behind the headstone. And there they stayed. Odd. Then the smiley face - and ONLY the smiley face - peeked out the SIDE of the headstone. Also odd. After a few seconds I said "Michael (last name). are you messing with me?" and all 3 balloons came out and were bopping on their ribbons. I burst out laughing and wished him a happy birthday. Nobody will ever convince me that it was "just the wind".

Yes.A little over a year ago, I had a hip replacement in a hospital and went to a nearby rehab center to recover. Immediately I started hearing thuds and loud footsteps above me, as if some people were moving furniture and sliding heavy objects.I asked to talk to the supervising nurse about the noise, and she said that there was no floor above us, that I was on the second floor of a 2 story building. When the lights were out, I also heard heavy breathing right next to me. I finally slept with the light on that night but demanded to be moved to another room the next morning. Later, the day nurse asked me why I changed rooms. After I told her, She said that the 2 previous patients in that same room had heard and did the same thing and said the room was haunted.My guess is that the entity was probably a person who had died in that room of the rehab.

Yes, I believe in the paranormal. I have seen and experienced too much to not believe. I have lived in a haunted house for nearly a decade now. Even before experiencing things like disembodied voices, footsteps, and even my daughter talking about the entities she was seeing as soon as she started talking, I've had encounters from childhood up to my late thirties now. One time, I fell asleep with a lit cigarette. Irresponsible, I know. Just as my mattress started to smolder and catch on fire, I felt someone push/slap my shoulder twice, waking me up in time to extinguish the small fire. It was so forceful it woke me right up and good thing, because me and my entire family would have surely perished in a house fire in the middle of the night. This was my parents' house. My mom swore it was haunted. She has since passed away, but my father still lives there. He even heard strange unexplainable sounds that creeped him out. He doesn't like the subject of ghosts, though. Honestly, I think it scares him.

One morning just before sunrise as a neighbor friend and I made the daily walk to the bus stop for school, we were in animated conversation, as we usually were on that 5 minute walk down the straight road. An ambulance appeared in the distance, driving at a leisurely speed, no sirens or anything. As it approached us I could see the driver and his companion in the passenger seat, both backlit and not very distinguishable. But between or maybe behind them sat a glowing figure, appearing almost holographic, hollow glowing eye sockets looking right at us. It was as if I could see it but knew that it wasn’t really there. My friend and I both fell silent as the ambulance passed us and for a minute we just kept on walking. Then she said: “I think I just saw a ghost.” Turns out we’d seen the same thing and it had had the same effect on us. Too short a story, but 30 years later I still remember it vividly. I’ve experienced some other stuff as well, but nothing as strange as that.

I have had what I would consider paranormal experiences, some more "extreme" than others, but the one I cannot explain the most was seeing a little girl run in front of my car in a cemetery near dusk. My friend in the passenger seat never saw her, but I described her age, clothing, appearance, etc, noting the clothes actually reminded me of what would have worn at that age 20 years ago more than modern fashion. We also realized there didn't actually appear to be any other people in the cemetery at all, and certainly no one near us. We got creeped out and left, but came back the next week. Right where I saw the girl was actually the grave of a little girl, same age I described, ethnicity fitting the description I gave, and who died the same year I was born. You could say coincidence, but it was an awful lot of different coincidences piling up together, than.

I never actually saw anyone else besides the girl, but when we looked at the stones in the general area there was a little boy who was about 2 years old buried a couple rows behind her. @@GlitterFlame89you should get a copy of the book ‘the children that time forgot’ by Mary and Peter Harrison. It describes children who say they’ve ‘lived before with my other mum & dad’ and they describe things that they cannot possibly have knowledge of. Some of these memories consist of actually remembering ‘sleeping then waking up and walking among the flowers in the cemetery’ and trying to speak to passers by but they couldn’t hear them! It’s a great book. The authors did a radio phone in series on reincarnation etc and they recorded the full stories and put them in this book. Once read, never forgotten. It’s not disturbing, but very interesting as these children not only lived lives in the past, but describe what experiences they had ‘before’ coming back into the world with their ‘new’ mum & dad. Yes I have. I worked in a clinic. It was maybe half an hour after closing, and I was doing a restocking run. It’s a small clinic too, so it didn’t take long. To my left, I saw a door open in one of the corner rooms and saw from my peripheral a person hurrying in. “Oh crap!” I remember thinking, as the doctors were already gone and it was just the head nurse/my supervisor and I left in the building. I hurried over to her and asked who the patient was in room 3, and were they waiting to be seen. She looked at me askew with a slight smirk- she thought I was pranking her. I reiterated that there was a man, with a black sweater in room three. She got up, with me and we went to see. I’m worried that we missed a patient and that the doctors would be livid when they found out, she was nonchalantly going along with me. Her office was not ten feet from room three, but just around a corner so we would have easily heard the heavy exam room door open. We get to it, and knock- no answer. She open the unlocked door and there’s no one inside. Baffled, I look around and think “He had to have gone to the bathroom.” So I jog the 15 feet and check. It’s a single room toilet- no one is there. When I close the door, my arms completely erupt in goosebumps. My supervisor was just watching me from the exam room and asked me to describe who I saw. I was getting annoyed because I thought she felt I was still pranking her. He was a man, yay tall (held my hand up at eye level to me) wearing a black sweater with no hood. Older, graying hair. Why? She took a second and then told me to follow her. I’m still unaware of what she was going to show me, so I’m still in search mode. There is a dude still in here- or so I thought. She brings up an article on her phone that she had saved. A year and a half before my hire date an older gentleman had a fatal heart attack in the restroom- the very one I had checked seconds before. She knew about it, and so did the other nurses but nobody had ever told me. I had described him perfectly to her, who was one of the people who had seen him since. I had just confirmed it for her though as she was looking for reasons to have not witnessed him walk by her office window- after hours as well. Not overly scary, but still fascinating that his ghost was something every worker in the clinic had eventually seen, but nobody ever talked about before hand. All independent sightings, more or less confirmed when a newer employee asked and was then filled in. Almost a rite of passage haha

I’ve experienced paranormal things, I was 13-15 living with my mum,I was at home alone, she worked long hours. When I was upstairs I would hear footsteps outside my door, scraping and banging on the walls. I’d be downstairs and I’d notice the cupboards were open by themselves and in the living room too, the tv cabinet was open by itself on many occasions. The house itself was very old and I used to think I was imagining things but one day, I was going down to the cellar as we had a freezer down there, the lightbulb stopped working and I fell down the cobble stairs, I ended up at the bottom of the stairs terrified and I’d hear noises in the cellar. When I’d walk around, I’d occasionally see things from the corner of my eyes (like shadows of a body watching me) I always could sense that I wasn’t alone at home, I’d often see a figure that looked like an elderly man too. I don’t know if others have experienced this but I’d love for my experiences to be heard

I won’t go too much into detail but I have 2 stories that have always stood out in my head. (This one happened to me personally the next was one we all witnessed) One night our family was watching a movie (a horror movie) and we had taken a break. To go to the bathroom and get drinks. I 12 at the time was playing with our dog running around on all fours with him like the weird kid I was, when I had ran into the laundry room to hide from, as I went to run back out I felt a hand grab my ankle and quite literally pulled my foot out from under me and caused me to trip. I ran so fast back to the other room crying because it was such a real feeling of getting pulled back into that room we moved when I was 15 and in the 3 years between I NEVER went into the laundry room again. My family lived in a trailer house (same one as the last story) it was a double wide so it was pretty big and was a really long house with doors on either end. One night as we were coming home the lights stated to flicker outside the house and we thought nothing of it. But the moment we walked into the house(through the very laundry room I hated) every light shut off and we began to hear coughing coming from the complete opposite side of the house. We had police come look and nothing was found. No point of entry not anything missing but the coughing was so real. We had so many paranormal experiences at that house. Nothing ever hurt or harmed anyone. It’s like it just wanted us to know we were in its house. My mom and her ex commonly said they saw a figure of a little native girl. Yet the 1 time I saw something it was an older woman like 40s in our kitchen. That alone makes me think it wasn’t 1 spirit but something that could change its form.

I went to visit my Aunt & Uncle at their camp site in Pennsylvania over the summer. I had set up my tent at the edge of the woods. Some time in the middle of the night I had woken up and had to go to the bathroom. I laid there for a few minutes trying to pretend like I didn't have to pee because I didn't feel like getting out of my tent and walking to the restroom. Eventually I couldn't ignore it anymore so I crawled out of my tent. I turned around and crouched down to zip my tent back up and I just happened to glance up into the woods. About 15 feet away I saw a figure, similar to the one depicted in one of the images in this video (the one standing next to the window). It looked like the figure of a person, kind of with their legs spread a little bit but it didn't appear to have hair and it was completely black. The moon was full and bright and it lit up the surrounding woods but this figure was still so dark I couldn't see any features or anything, just its outline. When I first saw it I thought maybe it was my uncle peeing in the woods or something but it only took me another second to remember that I had been laying there for a few minutes before I got out of the tent and I would have obviously heard my uncle walk into the woods but it had been totally silent other than the sound of the brook nearby. Plus my uncle had hair and this figure seemed to be bald. I knew it wasn't my uncle. And even though I couldn't see any features on its face I felt as though it was just staring at me. It felt ominous. It was completely motionless, standing amongst the trees, staring at me. I was frozen. But then I did what most people would do in that situation and I just told myself I was just seeing things. That it was just a trick of the light from the moon. That I didn't actually see anything. That was the only way I was able to move and go about what I was doing. I turned my head away and quickly zipped up my tent and I quickly ran up and went to the bathroom. I didn't hear any movement in the woods after that, and I was too scared too look back in that direction when I went back to my tent. I was scared to see it still there and would have also been scared if it was gone because that would have confirmed that something was really there but no longer there.. I literally just convived myself that it was my eyes. But I know deep down that I really saw something. The next day I looked into that area of the woods and saw nothing that could have resembled what I saw. It wasn't an animal and it wasn't a tree and it wasn't a trick of the light. I saw something that night, I guess you would say it was a shadow person. I will never forget that, and I will never put my tent near the woods again lol I don't even look into the woods there at night anymore. Creepy !!!!

#2: my boyfriend and I were living together and I had an uneasy feeling in the apartment: my dog would sit and growl at a corner; when I would leave for work and come home before my bf, the cabinets would be open and I’d ask him why he left them open when he left (he would leave for work after me) and he would tell me he didn’t leave any cabinets open. This happened multiple times. One night I felt particularly uneasy when I went to sleep, and he and I woke up at 3 am to 5 loud knocks on the door…. We stared at each other, our faces contorting into horror as we realized the knocking wasn’t on our apartment front door….. but on our Bedroom door. I immediately confronted the spirit, and bought a candle from the Santeria shop to get rid of the spirit. Thankfully a move soon after meant no more ghostly encounters, but I’m still spooked about it* til this day.

But I've also experienced different ghosts who were unknown to me. Both people and animals. I've helped one little ghost a girl who was looking for her mum. I started to do some research about her and her family and found out where she was buried. She just wanted for someone to visit her grave. After I had found her grave and put some flowers 💐 there she didn't interact more with me. I guess she found some form of peace. She used to lay beside me on the bed before I went to sleep. I felt the cold from her but I wasn't scared. She slept beside me for months and I saw her at one time in the daytime standing right in front of me. She told me that she had got TBC and was at the sanatorium in the early 1900s. My apartment building was built next to the sanatorium. So she didn't have to travel far to come visit me. ❤ I'm really thankful for being able to help her cause she was so sad that her family didn't attend her funeral 💔. They left her at the sanatorium and they didn't come visit her either. 😢

Right away, I felt a chill going up my spine - it felt like someone's cold finger was moving up my back. A couple of years ago, on New Years eve, my husband and I were " babysitting" our daughter's cat ( at her house) while she was away for a few days. In the middle of the night, the cat became a complete nuisance, snarling and wandering about the bedroom we were sleeping in. Because my husband had to get up early the next morning for work, I decided to sleep in the spare bedroom, with the cat. This room was windowless and very dark, in fact completely black. At exactly 7 am the next morning I was awoken by the cat scratching furiously at the bedroom door, I sat up and saw a tall (about 7ft) black figure at the foot of my bed. I say dark because it was blacker than the room itself. I switched the lamp on at the side of the bed, turned around and it had gone. Terrified i went back to bed with my husband and left the cat to it's own devices. I have never told my daughter about the encounter, she still lives in the property.

I've had a few paranormal incidents that have happened. One is really terrifying that I'll have to submit but for now, I'll just tell this one. Back in 2010 my husband and I moved into a rental house in the country. It seemed like the perfect place bc it was secluded and it was a friend of his. Plus my husband's a construction worker and the house needed a couple things done to it and in exchange, the landlord would knock it off the rent. Anywho, the 2nd day moved in, I was painting the kitchen and I got a knock at the door. I opened it and it was the previous renter dropping off a spare key she forgot to give back. She asked me if I had "seen anything strange happen yet?" and I said "what do you mean?" She said "like ash trays flying across the room or anything" and of course I said no. She went on to tell me some things that happened while she and her husband lived there. I didn't think too much about it bc I thought maybe she was mad that they were forced out of the house bc they weren't paying the rent. A few days later tho my son came from outta state for the weekend and he always liked sleeping on the couch and he was always walking around the house with a blanket wrapped around him and even his head like a hood and would hold it at his neck together. Anyway, about 3am my husband woke up and the way our room was, it was straight across this short hall from a door that led to the attic and the bathroom door was in the middle of the hall to the right with the light on. Oh and our TV would reflet the hall and attic door at night when the tv was off. So at 3am my husband opened his eyes and was looking at the TV and saw a figure of a tall man with like a cloak ( like my son would wear the blanket) and it opened the attic door, started walking up the stairs, and closed the door behind em. My husband was like wtf is Andy doing? He thought maybe he was sleep walking so he got up and instead of going up to the attic, he looked in the living room to see Andy sound asleep on the couch. Scared him to death. Then the next night I woke up around the same time and could hear what sounded like a chair or something being drug slowly across the attic floor, back and forth for like an hour. The next morning I was telling my husband and my son said "OMG did you hear that too?" We both heard it. The entire 2 years we lived there, I would be creeped out being there alone in the middle of the day. Our boys were afraid to be alone at the house ( my husband's boys from another marriage but I always call em our boys). After we moved out, the landlord sold it and the new owners tore it down and built a new house on the land lol 😂 so I guess they experienced weird shit too.

I have lived in a couple of haunted houses. The most active one was in Ct. The story goes that a man hangrd himself in the garage. We saw his reflection in mirrors, windows, amd the fireplace cover. There were times when the cats refused to go up/down stairs. I was in the basement ironing clothes. One of the cats was sitting on the end of the ironing board. He suddenly looked at the top of the stairs and watched something go from the top of the stairs to the bottom and then to the left of me. A few minutes later he watched as whatever it was went in the opposite direction. My favorite was when I was in the living room watching tv. A funny comercial came on and I thought my mom would like it. I went to yell for her when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and no one was there. I stood up and ran in the opposite direction.

Growing up I always believed my parent's home was haunted. I thankfully never saw anything except a couple orbs, but the noises were the most common activity we had. The house is a typical ranch style with a long hallway and all the bedroom doors next to each other, the sounds of footsteps were common to hear while you were sitting in the living room. The stairs to the basement were also a common place for these foot steps to happen. Things were never really misplaced or moved, if they were it wasn't common enough for us to believe we had just put them there ourselves then forgot. While I don't have any evidence, I believe the house was haunted by at least 2 spirits. The husband of the couple who owned the house before us and a female spirit, I'm thinking it was his wife but it may have been my grandmother on my dad's side. My dad has her the voice of the female spirit and said he didn't recognize the voice so I'm thinking it's the wife. My mom has seen faces in the mirror in her bedroom and her room has always felt off. I never had the feeling of being unwelcome there but I felt like I wasn't alone. That room was very creepy. A couple of times the female spirit has woken my dad up in the morning so my siblings and I wouldn't be late for school. Overall the spirits were very nice and it wasn't too bad living there. Now that my parents live there alone the activity has gone up a bit. Now things (nothing fragile) have been pushed off counters and pillows have been thrown on the floor. I guess the spirits don't want my parents to be lonely.

My dog had 'incurarable' cancer and I'd booked the vet to come out to put her down. It was my last night with her on the settee. I lived alone at the time. I'm a Quaker and I prayed for her recovery. I believe in the power of Jesus to cure illness. She had 8 big weeping bloody lumps. Her fur on her entire head had fallen off. She was completely blind too. Well, true to form, when I saw an orange light coming from the front room at 5 in the morning, (it was mid February and still dark outside) I knew she was cured. Sure enough, she was was 100% cured. I took her to the vet, and the young 25 year old, who had examined her only 3 days before, was very spooked and couldn't wait for me to leave the surgery. In fact, I lost a few friends when they saw her recovered. It's my view that their inner demons said, "get away from this dog who has the power of the living God in her". I didn't mind because I'd rather have my dog back fit and 'puppy like' than these types around me. My dog >> a Dalmation even acted like a 12 month old puppy. She was young again. I stayed with her 100% of the time and went for walks 3x a day in the fields and woods where I live. It's not a ghost story but a story of the power of love between me and my dog. The Holy Spirit came and visited my house and cured my dog that night. I'm so blessed. She eventually died of old age related cancer 6 months later.

Footsteps in the night but no person, being touched and turning around to see there was no one there. TV turning itself on at 2AM in the morning, doors being locked and unlocked through the night and the week we were moving out a previous tenant had come by as she had lost her purse but the licence address was still the flat, we said sorry we move out in 3 days, she turned to leave but then turned back and said I'm going to sound crazy but when I lived here I thought there was something here so I had the house cleansed, we stared at her with open mouths. My mom always told me she didn’t believe in the paranormal, but when she saw the scratches she started believing it, and didn’t want me to sleep upstairs alone. She finally told me she have had encounters herself, in our old apartment her and my sister was watching a movie, when my mom saw something out of the corner of her eyes, but told herself that she was just tired, but then my sister asked who that man was, my mom described what they saw, and I told her it was the hat man.

That was you? I grew up in an old house that had been in my family since before the civil war. 3 people were shot and killed on the property and 2 died inside of it. I would hear similar things to what you did. Plus drawers would open and close and a large picture (which was firmly anchored in place.) was always being ripped off of the wall and would end up across the room, face up. I understand exactly what your fiance said about feeling the presence of someone unseen in the room with you. Sometimes I'd see dark shadows. I know I wasn't crazy because my grandmother experienced the same things. I moved on now as my husband committed suicide there after our young daughter passed away. @I lovehecklefish I am so sorry for your loss. I have not experienced any suicide but I have lost 2 of my 3 children. I ran a support group for bereaved parents for years. I have seen many families fall apart when they lose a child. I will tell you what happened the night my daughter died in a car accident. I don’t share this often. I was home alone when I got the phone call telling me she was dead. My husband drove a truck and was in Oklahoma. I don’t remember much about it, but I know I drove myself to my parents house 50 miles away. I do remember hearing screaming in the car. When my husband arrived to take me home it was about 3 AM. I was crying and inconsolable. As I pulled the sheets back to get into bed, I heard Carrie say very plainly, Light a candle for me, Mama! It was her voice and it was as if she was standing beside me. I told her I love you, and lit her candle as she asked. Shortly afterwards, I began finding small white feathers in strange places in my house and car. Always in places that were impossible to find a rational explanation. I didn’t even own anything that had feathers. But, between my sheets, in the fridge, on a lampshade I sat beside, and even in a shoe. This became my sign from her that she was with me. I even felt her arm around my neck as I was sitting at my computer crying one night. I hope that you have been fortunate enough to receive signs as well. God bless you, Brenda ❤

However, I've the picture of her ghost, which I am sure grateful, and happy to have. Thanks, Tape Library. I truly appreciate and love your videos. ❤❤❤

Yes i have experienced unexplainable things . However they are short yet terrifying. One example one day i got up to go bathroom in my aut's house , i saw the sun was coming out already, so i hurried to go before they got up to get ready for work , i went in but before i got out , i heard two big foot steps outside the door , and i knew it wasn't anyone in the family, i said is occupied! The thing stood outside didn’t move , i felt an hour go by gathering my courage i opened the door to get out , and there was nothing, and thru the window it look like it was 1 a.m no sun no morning at all . That is one thing that i can't explain yet .

The first story is odd (if we consider it real and not a fabrication). Two guys go into the forest, one of them disappear and when the other returns to civilization nobody has any memory of the guy that disappeared. Time slip? Different universes? What's your call?

I was 5 years old and my mum said I had to stay at home with my mums mum as they were going to a funeral. I didn’t even really know what a funeral was and they hadn’t mentioned who it was for either. That night I left my door ajar so mum could tuck me in when she got back. She used to wear a white dressing gown, so when I saw a white figure come through the door I got out of bed and went to hug it. But fell straight through and banged my head on my chest of drawers. It scared me and I hid under my duvet until I fell asleep. I asked mum if she came in my room the next day but she said no she didn’t want to wake me up. Turns out that night I remember was my dads step dads funeral, my grandad. Never experienced anything else like this since it was strange, I think it could’ve been him saying goodbye to me 🤷🏻♀️

I took my grandson to this small cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to see these swans that stayed in the cemetery pond. On the way in, I looked at this group of three white monuments that are higher than the surrounding stones. I saw a gray 'mist' apparently coming out of the ground like steam and vanishing four to five feet above the ground. It was at sunset but still plenty light enough. I couldn't watch it all the time because I was driving my car, but I got a better look at the 'mist' on the way out. There was no fog on the pond or anywhere else and it was a warm summer day.

I live in a county run housing apt for dissabled and elerly. Im 60 so I geuss I can say Im elderly also. 6 yrs ago I adopted a lil kitten so I wouldnt be so alone. One morning I woke up looking straight into the face of an extremely wrinkled woman in her 80s looking down at me and petting my kitten Kagome. I remember her smiling face to this day as she petted Kagome who was lying on my arm. I jumped back in surprise and of course she was gone. I asked our director who said the lady who rented that place before me had died in the nursing home. It couldve been a ghost, or just part of my dream. Except I was dreaming about driving a truck on the moon at the time when I wooke up.

When I was around 22 - 24 I used to work at a cinema that was very haunted. I was their projectionist and as such, often worked completely alone and could go hours without seeing another person. There were 4 of us all together who would alternate shifts with one doing the mornings and one doing nights from 5pm to 3am on some occasions, that was my usual shift. There was what I can only describe as a black mass that would appear in your peripheral vision and slowly grow in size before coming towards you slowly. The second you looked at it, it would vanish. I thought this was an issue with vision or just over tiredness at first, until other things began happening that just couldn't be explained. A projector that had been disconnected from the mains and was waiting to be collected for scrap suddenly started by itself one night, you could hear the lamp trying to strike repeatedly. Upon opening the lamp housing to see what was going on, the activity would stop and there was actually no lamp in there for safety reasons, so that was bizarre, because where was the noise coming from when everything else was running smoothly? I vividly remember one rare morning shift in the building alone hearing someone say "Hey!" to me from the other end of the corridor like room and it sounded like my boss so I called out to him, nobody answered, when I went to check, nobody was around. That same day I was doing maintainence on one of the projectors, I saw a black shape peer over my left shoulder, which made me freak out so badly I dropped what I was doing and ran outside to wait for the manager to arrive. My experiences were corroborated by coworkers months into the job when I brought up some of the weird things that had happened, most of it centering around the lower projection corridor between screens 2 and 3. It's hard to explain the feeling you would get down there, but the air was thick. My boss had a horrible fright one night when he thought he'd seen me walk into the room, sit where I usually would and, thinking it was odd I didn't even say hello, he turned to talk to me, nobody was there. My full story was actually covered by Real Ghost Stories online in one of their early episodes.

Quite a few yrs ago, I experienced a paranormal situation. My husband worked at a second hand store. He brought home a eight day clock. For those of you who don't know what an eight day clock is, you only wind it every eight days. When he brought the clock home, strange things started to happen. Voices.wierd dreams,and noises. One night my son came in my room crying and saying there was a man in his room. I and my husband looked all over the room, couldn't find anything. Didn't take me long to get my boys out of there.an

I had a childhood friend growing up named Jeremy. He was definitely a troubled kid with anger issues. His parents were alcoholics. Never had food in his house, I mean nothing. I’d go to his house and his food pantry and refrigerator would be empty. Not even so much as expired cans of soup laying around. Anyway, he used to tell me stories all the time about the things he’d experience at night. Footsteps running down the hall, knocking on his door, his door handle being rattled around. One night he woke up out of his sleep and saw a shadowy figure just standing at the foot of his bed and he quickly threw the blankets over his head and panted heavily while sweating for the rest of the night until he passed back out. I stayed the night at his house a few times but never saw/heard anything. The inside of his garage door (the door/entry thing that opens up for your car when you press the button) had what looks like a bright orange faded painting of a cross that never went away no matter how much they washed or scrubbed it. I used to joke that it was probably blood. When I think back on it now it sounds very cliche, but Jeremy had a very blunt personality and I just knew he wasn’t lying when he would tell me about these things. He eventually moved in with his gf and even she said one night he was levitating off his bed and wouldn’t wake up no matter how loud she screamed. I knew both of these 2 for several years, they weren’t the type of people to lie or joke about this kind of stuff. didn’t go around telling everyone, it would just be a side story that would come up when I would hang out and drink with them, then we’d forget about it and be onto the next subject. Only people I’ve ever believed when it comes to these paranormal stories.

She was busy in the kitchen with dinner and said she would come in a minute. I believe the person who told the story about the ghostly intruder.I used to be stationed in a fire house that my co-workers said was haunted. My first night there, we went upstairs to try and rest at about 2300. I was the last one up because I was writing a report. I was instructed to make sure the dead bolts were fastened. I did as I was instructed and checked to make sure the door was locked. I went up stairs and laid down trying to get some sleep. As I dozed off, I heard someone come in and make a bunch of racket in the kitchen. I woke up and immediately realized thst I had locked the door. I heard someone walk upstairs loudly (old fire station from the late 1800s) so it was 20 steps. I heard the bathroom door open and close. I saw my partner was asleep on the floor next to me. I got up and went to the bathroom and it was utterly empty. There was a window open that we had opened earlier because it was May and hot. The window opened out on to the roof of a municipal building next store. There was no place to go but the roof, and there was no one there. I thought I was being pranked, and I asked my partners. They said that the station was old and people heard and saw things quite often. Other things happened, but I never felt especially frightened. Nothing menacing ever happened. Just the sound of someone rummaging around downstairs or knocking on the walls.

In 1995 I was staying in a kibbutz in Israel, in a 1970's Vollie hut. Sharing a room with 5 others, the place had a really creepy vibe. One night I woke up at 2am super alert but saw nothing. I was so weirded out I went & sat in the manky toilets with the spiders, as soon as I left that room I felt fine. Two nights later, on a top bunk, I awoke at the same time to a strange swirling shape in front of my face, about a foot away & 2 feet in size. The room was dark but partly lit by lights from outside. This thing was moving in swirls & looked like an oil slick like you see on the roads, black but with colourful parts. I didn't feel scared just shocked but then a wooden chair went flying across the room. It was my bunkmate, i thought she was asleep but she'd shoved it across the floor. I asked her why & she said she'd seen a man standing in front of her. I wondered if we'd seen the same thing but in different ways. The strangest thing is we never spoke about it again & being friends I've always found that the oddest thing of all.

I never saw anything. I did, however, discover that a hotel is famously haunted by my own experience. I followed voices deep into the old side of the hotel where nobody was, and when I got to this dark stairway into the basement, the voices stopped. Then I sped my way back to the busy new side of the hotel. I was alone the entire time. When I came back to the lobby, I told someone and they said the hotel is well known for being haunted. The next day, one of the receptionists gave me a tour of all of the strange occurrences that happened to them. That is enough to convince me that, while we can't explain it for sure, something is indeed behind all of this. It's not just imagination. (I truly had no clue it was haunted beforehand. This is not a case of placebo. It was part of a tour in Norway and I didn't choose the hotels or even look at them ahead of time.)

On the night my grandmother died, the clock stopped at roughly about 10-15 minutes before the hospice care worker came in and found that she'd died, likely right around when her life ended. The next morning I also found an owl who seems to have peacefully died in my front yard, no signs of injury on it at all. Owls were her favorite animal and she collected anything with an owl on it. To this day, whenever a family member dies, an owl will appear in the yard in the daytime and start hooting. There are no owls that live in my yard otherwise. I still think about it to this day; while I like hearing about haunted and paranormal stories, I wasn't really a huge believer until that day. I'm still not sure if I totally believe, but it becomes harder to deny after these events.

I have never experienced anything paranormal but I have experienced a kind of hysteria when people thought something paranormal was happening. It was in primary school and we were on a school trip staying overnight somewhere. It’s kind of a long story but there was incident that kicked it all off and the next thing I knew all these kids were seeing ghosts or experiencing weird stuff. I remember being so disappointed that I didn’t because I was fully in my paranormal phase. In the end, the weird incident that started the whole thing was explained by a teacher and suddenly all the paranormal happenings just stopped. Nobody saw or felt or experienced anything odd after that. It was an interesting experience for me and may even have planted the seed that grew into my interest in psychology.

My aunt, my sister, and my sisters friend went to San Francisco for a getaway trip. They were pretty enthralled by the atmoshpere as we're used to more rural/suburban life that wasnt as alive or as busy. A lot of times during their trip they would walk through random shops lining the street. One day they had come across a voodoo shop that had a lot of miscellaneous looking but typical items you would expect to see like dolls, skulls, Ouija boards, etc. My sisters friend was all over the shop and he went around picking things up and inspecting, but when my sister went to pick something up my aunt reached her hand out and told her, don't touch anything in here. My sister turned towards my aunt and she was looking around disapprovingly at the shop. My sister kind of slowing down after being hyped up by her friend felt this heavy pressure of unease all of a sudden and went with my aunt outside to get some fresh air. My aunt turned towards my sister while outside and proceeded to tell her that as soon as she entered the shop she felt this pressure that she couldn't explain and immediately had a bad feeling. My sister, also having those same feelings was creeped out to say the least. They left the shop and ended it on a good note. (Funny side story: They got cookies afterwards from a frisky shop and my aunt thought her cookie was an airplane ✈️ Was not an airplane lmao 😂

Yes, at a place in Northern NJ that, at one time, had been a large mansion called Cross Castle. It involves things like a lack of natural sounds (birds, insects, wind, etc), random photos of certain areas of the house not showing anything after being developed and a generally oppressive atmosphere in the area...

Oh, yea, I have! When I was little, and my Aunt and Uncle lived in a Chicago suburb, their house had A LOT of paranormal activity! I saw my cousin's toys floating in the air, at night while sleeping on a pallet on the floor, I was sleeping next to the furnace register. And I turned over one night, and the register was glowing like fire, and I could hear chanting. It scared the beejezuss out of me. I saw a black circle painted on the basement floor. It had strange writing around the edge. Come to find out, it was a pentical. And the people who used to lived there were Satanists! So, yea, my beliefs in the paranormal is quite strong! Because no child should EVER experience what I did!
