In my experience most 5th pockets can comfortably hold Victorinox knives up to 84 mm, like the Cadet and Sportsman. For cutting apples these are way better suited that the 58 mm models. Still I always carry the sadly discontinued Manager on my keyring, which gets used multiple times a day. Great knive! Funny to advocate the flashlight while you carry a far more serious torch on your keyring. As do I, hence the Manager which keeps a slot for a tooth pick OR a pair of tweezers.

I have carried a SAK Executive 58 mm for over 50 years. Bought my first one in Geneva, Switzerland about 1970. It is a two layer knife with a small blade, large blade, scissors, nail file (point at end works as a Phillips screwdriver), and the rather strange orange peeler with a useful flat blade screwdriver on the end. It has the ubiquitous tweezers and toothpick and the split ring attachment. I replaced the toothpick with a Firefly Ferocerium rod as a firestarter. Unfortunately, Victorinox has discontinued the Executive. Over the decades I have broken several knives with improper use. Thankfully, I saved the four broken knives and recently learned that Victorinox will repair and restore all models, current and discontinued, to new specs for basically the cost of return mailing. So, now I have several like new Executive models, even though that model has been discontinued.

I prefer to carry the Signature. You won't notice that you have it but you always carry a second small emergency blade, a scissors and a pen. The pen is the main reason to choose the signature because you hardly even need one, but when you do then it is always really important that you have it with you and regular pens are too long to carry in a jeans.

@@MB_EDC IMHO the MiniChamps are the best things Victorinox ever produced, extremely practical and easy to carry. So all my ordinary daily needs are fully satisfied 🤣 Of course, everybody has different needs and use scenarios, so it is just what I prefer. I got my first SAK in 1969. I've carried the tinker, hiker, pioneer, my old Wenger SI, recruit, waiter, and bantam. They were all good, but I never thought about the 58mm's. I thought they were so small, they were a joke. Well, the joke was on me. My wife got me one in 1996, and I started to use it as an experiment. I thought it would self destruct. I was soooo wrong! Since then I've learned that the 58mm SAK's are a seriously capable EDC for most urban and suburban environments. No, its n to for taking out enemy sentries or surviving the Alaskan wilderness, but it opens packages, and opens mail, cuts cardboard, string, plastic wrapping, with ease. I use my classic SD at least a couple times a day for something. Even the tweezers get out stickers from between my dogs paw pads. My knife nut days are long gone, and now I only carry a Vic classic and I'm fine.
