Preach! I had to figure out some of these points over the 4 years of music uni. My goal this summer is to work on my fundamentals.

This video made me realise that if I really want to play flute more professionally and not just as a little hobby I should probably work on every one of those points or at least try them out. So yeah, thanks for that video, it was helpful ^^

Flutecookies Still looking into my options, but it will most definitely be just a beginner flute. Lol Probably a Yamaha. 😊

Angela Dominique look up some Jupiter and Pearl flutes, they’re usually about the same price as Yamaha but I find they sound better :)

i feel like this is actually what I would do when I practiced in the past since this is how my band directors would teach us, but ever since this quarantine I’ve had too much free will so I’ve forgotten what I would do when I had an effective practice session! all of these things are so true. thank you so much for the reminder :’)

@elyssa_4 жыл бұрын
you can use cork grease in a tube just a little bit and it will be super easy
@Flutecookies4 жыл бұрын
Yep I agree use cork grease or if you don’t have that and you’re really desperate using a lead pencil carefully also helps!

it can also help if you wipe it down after every practice with a polishing cloth (or any soft cloth) :)
