I learned while visiting a friend there, if the speed limit is 40 you go 40 not 41 but 40 , here in California it’s not as strict

hello! i plan to move my family of four up there within less than 2 years. 3 things that scares me is not finding work, now finding low income housing and also not feeling like we fit in. we currently live in Tucson, its so unsafe and it even has a super cute nick name- fentanyl city (sarcasm) there are no job opportunities here, and a lot of people here are sketchy and mean. i want us to get away from all of that..

If you move to bend Oregon you better be a multi millionaire already. You are either homeless and barely scraping by or a multi multi millionaire retired beer bicycle dude. There is absolutely no in between. Bend is such a scam city. So much money going there in such a little amount of time. There is something extremely fishy about it

There is some long time locals that dislike Californians moving here, but there is also a great many people that live here that have no issues. Truth is the influx of money brought from out of state has made a huge difference to this area. We would still be a tiny mountain town with it the tourism and people coming here. I have helped dozens of people relocate here from California and I think all of them would say the same thing, Bend is a great place to live no matter where you come from. Doubtful as so many Californians have moved there over the decades. The political atmosphere is liberal with "lefty" thrown in. Most people know to garage their cars, if possible, until they get their Oregon plates.

In all honesty, with the influx of people from all over the country Bend has become a lot more diverse. And in my 20 years here I have never experienced racism. I am also of Hispanic heritage. Thank you for the question and watching our channel.
