I don't think he bumped the chair, I think the angle made it look like he was closer than he really was. They were all laughing and smiling throughout. And if he did somehow know and keep his mouth shut, then he was being very professional, unlike number 3 who felt all around the woman next to her to see if she was in a chair or not (if she felt a chair she would have spoiled the entire thing!).
