Hi everyone! We want to create awareness around current suffering in India. We posted a fundraiser that we have supported via community tab. Please give some time to read it! The amount goal is definitely not enough to completely resolve the problem. What matters the most is being aware on this serious issue and speaking up about it. Thank you for those who have donated and those who have spoke up about it! kzbin.infocommunity

If you were paying attention then you would not be so stressed. It is your worry that you don't understand the material, a judgment you're making before it's been taught to you. I think you're having anxiety over math in general and facing it is what's scaring you. Not paying attention in class is what is going to fail you. Get a tutor if you need one, but you do actually have to learn the material no matter what. If you're really following what the teacher is saying you will not be able to feel anxiety in the mental sense (you may have physical symptoms) because you cannot have two things at the front of your mind at the same time. Some people think they can, but while it is possible to have ideas floating through your head in an abstract form, you cannot construct two sentences in your head at the same time. Listen to the teachers sentences. Focus on what the teacher is telling you. Don't blow it off just because you don't like it or you'd rather be doing something else or because it scares you. Seek assistance for proficiency in Math.

I used to be a biology major at college when I thought being a veterinarian was my calling. I've loved animals my whole life. Volunteering at a vet clinic made me realize that assisting animals with medical attention was not what I wanted, so it eventually clicked that being a service dog trainer sounded more like me. I switched to psych major when I had the chance and I've been doing a lot better since. I love dogs and I'd be able to take the time to train them for as long as I need. I unknowingly foreshadowed the experience when I brought my yorkie along to surprise some cast members of "Invader Zim."

Barely got back into motorcycles after an "incident" (no not even injured) scared me off a few years back... AND in less than a year, the bike got stuck in storage, and I was taking care of my mother for her last months... and then Covid... and... AND I realized I was procrastinating... I had hoped to pick up a cheap smaller bike (no bigger than a 400 or 500)... AND I ended up "settling" onto a 650cc... It's considered kinda the "low end" but it's definitely a "full grown" or "big boy" motorcycle, and I can admit to being a little bit intimidated... Today the rear-view mirrors arrived, and I have a new set of hand-levers coming (adjustable) so I'll be bleeding the brakes and setting her up within the week. She's in my back yard NOW... and I'm getting excited. I have a few little things (always little bits of TLC) to get through and then I'll be off to recertify (license)... AND I'm GOING to master this thing. No more being timid... damnit! I've been on the big Ducati's and Liter-bikes! AND riding has always been a high point in my life... ...AND for those "concerned" for my safety. Look up Randy Mamola... He's a sports announcer now, in his sixties. He lived a 13 YEAR motorcycle racing career, won races too, so NOT the kind of timid guy who goes around a track and collects a check... AND in 13 years he NEVER suffered even a single "major accident"... NOT EVEN ONCE. In Wikipedia, he's remembered "for his aggressive and spirited riding style". There's no good reason for a motorcycle to be any more inherently dangerous than a car. There are lots of lame and stupid excuses about it... but not one good reason. The likes of Mamola prove that. ;o)
