I'm one of those people that likes to have some of the noises for my camera, sorry! 😂I like the noise it makes when it locks focus as it makes me feel like I have confirmation from the camera that I can take the image and I like hearing the shutter when I'm using interval timer for self portraits, so I can know when the camera is taking the photos and when it's stopped taking them! I have fujifilm though and even the mechanical shutter is quite quiet and I have troubles hearing it when I step away from the camera, especially compared to my old dslr, that thing was loud! My favourite setting I worked out for my camera was adding the interval timer to the top of my quick menu so I can get to it quickly by only pressing 2 buttons

For most cameras today, you should definitely NOT use silent shooting for wildlife photography -- unless your subject is still. For action shots, silent shooting will cause a rolling shutter effect that distorts the shape of your target. A hummingbird in flight, for example, will look as if its wings are disconnected from its body if you take pictures with a silent shutter. This is not a problem for cameras like the A1, which have a stacked sensor, or the new A9III, with its global sensor. But most other cameras are not capable of reading information off the sensor that fast, which is the cause of the rolling shutter effect. Rather than using silent shooting, most wildlife photographers rely on a mode called EFCS (Electronic Front Curtain Shutter), which is a compromise between the mechanical and the electronic shutters. It is less noisy, more stable, and causes less shutter shock than a full mechanical shutter, and it avoids the distortions of silent shutters.

I have programmed C1, C2 and C3 for the most important and all 12 in Fn for others things I change. After seeing you video I saved my settings for landscape in mode 1 and settings for birds in mode 2. On an a7iv I need to change to compressed RAW to get 10 fps. It is nice to not forget that and not forget to change back to lossless.

my shutter and beep (focussing) sounds were on whilst i was videoing the jacobite train in scotland with my iphone and its all you can hear LMAO but i didnt realise i could turn the beeps off haha but i knew i could turn the shutter sound off but i didnt because it makes it lag when taking the photo and i needed it to be fast
