There's a ranger station that you can pick up map at. A few other spots of interest are Blow sand, Stack rock (near the pumpkin patch), 4x4 training area on the north side of the park and the local rental spots: Blu-inn, Desert Ironwood resort & Quad stop just to name a few. Remember to pack-in and pack-out.. don't trash the park please.

The dirt roads and trails he was on could I go on those with my 4runner or only for smaller ones like the one he rented? Any advice would be great heading out end off week.

@@eleazarruiz7300you can take a 4runner on pretty much any trail there, heads up the whoops can be a pain on some though. Source: I’ve been taking my 3rd gen 4runner there for years

A lot of the roads are accessible by 4WD car and a few are normal dirt roads. The road to the Pumpkin Patch was narrow and bumpy though.

I plan on going out there for the first time next week. Have a 2017 YZ250X that needs to be ridden, plus I haven't been riding in a while. Someone recommended that I stage at Main Street and ride around there for my first time. Where exactly is that? I'm going out there by myself but I can't find any information on the map. Is it off Quarry Rd.?

Where do you camp to have easy access to these places ?

Just pull in and camp anywhere. There are more established areas but you can pretty much park where you want and set up a camp. One caution is there is safety in numbers. There are no lights and on busy weekends there are tons of ATV's and dirt bikes ridiing everywhere. I remember one opening weekend, (Thanksgiving), a guy parked his motorhome all by itself and someone came over the hill behind him in Odyssey, took some air and stuck it right in side of the mh...about 5 feet up.

You can try..but I'd sttay on the trails. If you try to climb blowsand or Devlil';s slide and you get stuck..all people are gonna do is laugh at ya.
