Thanks for the information!! Does the jig head color matter at all? Can it stop the crappie from biting? Like that black cricket jig - with that pink and white head??

the jig head color can make a difference. I like to start with a jig that is a different color than the bait because that way if the crappie are keying in a specific color I have a better chance of having that color. If the fish are not biting though I might change the jig color to see if that makes a difference.
