One thing I really love: before you start talking you are playing what the video is all about! I miss that soooo often in other videos. Great job 👌

6 stroke roll is one of the most usefull rudiments in my opinion :) i like playing Kick and Crash on 1,2,3,4

Yes, demonstrating before talking. Playing slowly. Clarity. Excellent. I've been playing a long time and really always wanted to get the six stroke roll fill idea down. Thank you! Now I'm going to get to work on it.

Awesome lesson on the 6 stroke roll. This is the best rudiment to use on the drum set, in my opinion.

Good job......sounds great. The bass drum incorporated in the pattern adds a nice punch.
Eric, Great job of explaining, counting and demo. Thanks, Donnie

Eric Thanks for your presentation and external application of the 6 stroke roll on a 4 piece drum kit..... I have alway believed using the basic rudiments within our playing style will only enhance our abilities as a drummer and or percussionist. Thanks for stressing this style.

You can come up with some cool fills by playing the 6 stroke roll as 4 on the hands and 2 on the feet

Great lesson as usual. Thanks Eric. When do you expect to launch the new beginners course?
@Fisherdrumming6 жыл бұрын
Broc! The beginners course will be launched with the a whole new updated site in the next few months. The beginners course will include lessons like basic reading, note values, basic beats and fills, and various exercises to lay a really solid foundation. Then there will be more lessons for intermediates after beginners go through that course. I will be offering a membership to the site where instead of download lessons members can stream them on the site which will be much more convenient for drummers using the site. Hope to see you on there!
