Great job, Mei! I am a Vietnamese-Korean who is fluent in said languages as well as Japanese! I'm learning Chinese and I am in love with Chinese culture, from Genshin Impact, donghuas, and of course, your channel! I'm going to a meet-up with my Asian-American high school friends tomorrow, and we all decided to wear the traditional outfits of our culture(s). However, I am an overachiever and I sewed, embroidered, and stitched together a hanbok that has Japanese kimono aspects with the obi and obidome, as well slits of both sides and Vietnamese embroidery like an "ao dai". OMG! I tried the first hairstyle for the first time and it look soo cute on me, I added fake flowers on the middle and I felt like a child again and it was amazing! you should def read tian guan ci fu! It's also by the same author and is also a bl, and has a similar setting (xianxia Ancient China with fantasy elements). there's also a live action version of mo dao zu shi, the untamed or cheng qing ling, which caused something of a revolution and gradual shift toward LGBTQIA+ representation on Chinese television.
