Probably the best reality video about expectations in spending your money, the value of SPF, and knowing what you can’t control. So ladies, you cannot reduce pore size, elasticity, losing fat in the face (short of professional help). She has proven she cares about the truth. There are many things we can do to improve but not all things. Isn’t that a stress release? I’m 74 love my face, and do what I can - the rest is nature and that’s natural. Bless her morals, caring, professionalism and unwillingness to sell me junk. ❤️

I wish there was more information about how to manage wounds from operations, mole removal, random scratches etc to minimise the resulting scar...from initial care of the fresh wound, to all the stages of healing , when to cover, when to let it air, what sort of cover, what sort of products to use or avoid, ways to support healing etc, different management for wounds on different parts of the body (different type of skin). But there is almost nothing really fact based out there explaining about it. I've had moles removed and some heal with no effort and nearly no scar, others with the same management have more of a scar. Other moles I used all the fancy blister-style band aids and would healing ointment but still have a remarkable scar, and other one got infected and was a problem for a while but healed with hardly any scar. It all seems so random!

I am so glad that I came across this channel! It is so refreshing to have someone tell us the truth about skincare. I am 34 and have recently noticed some fine lines on my forehead and under my eyes. I KNOW these are expressive line because I raise my eyebrows (like I'm surprised) and laugh/smile with my eyes, but it's hard not to feel self-conscious about them because I still consider myself too young for wrinkles. I agree that we need to accept these things about ourselves and focus on healthy skincare. I try to focus my skincare on balancing my skin to combat acne and protecting it from the environment and the sun. I incorporate vitamin c and azelaic acid (AM) as well as adapalene and bakuchiol (PM) to target these areas. Always following up with SPF (AM) and moisturizer (AM+PM). Thank you for your honesty and informational content!

I was 12 when I got my first stretch marks on the inner part of my legs, my mom took me to the dermatologist and they started something called infiltrations, it was so painful and costly but didn’t help at all, I also never had a change of weight so I kind of felt guilty for being so young and already having them without a medical explanation! I eventually learned how to live with them and now they don’t even bother me! Now as a mother of two I don’t have stretch marks on my belly, go figure!

Thank you for this video. Super helpful. One comment about stretch marks: mine appeared at about age 15 on my hips and a few other places ;). I tried everything to get rid of them, then finally gave up in my late 30s. I always did put body lotion everywhere, every day. I've kept a stable weight etc. Now, I'm 54 and my stretch marks are mostly gone. Maybe time does heal all things, including stretch marks.

Is skincare that says "firming" legit? Is it the same as tightening? I am a 22-year-old girl and I had a random line from my left inner eye corner since I was 18. 2 months ago I got a toner that said firming and now that line, after 3 years and 6 months, is almost all gone. I didn't add anything else new to my routine when I started noticing the difference. It is named something like Quenching coconut water firming toner by Andalou Naturals. It seems to be an American brand, but I have seen it often in Calgary, Canada, where I live.
