You're giving me some techniques to try. Which one is best for really thick, coarse hair?

I’m glad this gave you some ideas! I think it’s less about your hair personally & more about what brush you’re using & what you want your curls to look like would determine which to try. Want big thick clumps to separate for volume? Then I’d recommend brush coiling or finger rolling. Want more natural looking curls & clumps? I’d recommend brush styling. Want small perfect ringlets? I’d recommend finger coiling. Want less definition but more volume? I’d recommend the rake & shake. Want a blend of ringlets & natural? I’d recommend brush ribbons. Hope that helps!
