I always watch my trainer ride her own horse. That helped me with my jumping position get 100% better.

I do a working student position at my barn. It is a smaller boarding stable with around 8 horses, two are the owners of the barn. I ride their quarter paint and get to ride, brush, lunge whenever I go. I take care of the two stalls and an occasional boarder stall, which I get paid for (The owners of the other horses do their own stalls). I also do hay and feed two or three times a week depends on my week. I've been at the barn for almost three years. I did my first year of showing this year and took the horse to fair. He is literally the best, and I got so lucky with this opportunity.

lol that reminds me when I was younger and my trainer had the vet out and I was was watching. The vet said to my trainer you have a little shadow. I was that shadow, always watching.
