I love swimming and chlorine in pool water was taking a troll on my hair. Breakage and brittle hair became my regular problem, I use to do oiling before swimming for protection but was not working then a friend suggested its due to wrong oils start using little extra coco onion oil and shampoo and really instead of swimming everyday healthy scalp, silky shiny hair is what I have got. Coming from a pool owner Tip no 1 don't swim in pool's that smell a lot Tip 2 never swim in hot sun (11-3pm ) , either swim early or evening Tip 3 bath before after pool Tip 4 use swimming gear always Chlorine is not harmful other chemicals are so be sure of choosing the right pool

Please know that swim caps WILL NOT keep your hair dry or prevent chlorine damage.

kanmani chidambaram The water will go in the cap from the sides, it might leave the middle/top part of your hair dry. The best way to prevent chlorine damage on hair is to wet it in water before putting a cap on.
