I received over 10k for a tax return. Feeling overwhelmed since I don't want to ruin a good thing. My father told me to invest it, but I genuinely don't know enough about investing, so I've been anxious just sitting on it.

Yea having to pay instalments simply ins't reasonable for everyone's situation. Same here. It sucks!
