Brian covered it all, this is high level knowledge and experience he is passing on! ...bike electric fans are notorious for triggering only when way too hot. The fan switch mod is easy guys, piggyback/jumper the wires coming off the radiator to an on/off switch, no cutting of original wires.
@Darkened_Moto2 жыл бұрын
Ya Brian is the man!!! I've been watching him for years. He's the only one I watch really. Extremely helpful, down to earth and kills it on stunting. Thanks for the advice with the switch. Totally see what your talking about with the piggy backing. I was just going to run it straight to the battery, but feed into the already existing line sounds easier. I don't have my ecu flashed tho, and ur right about the electric vans mine doesn't come on until around 218 to 220. I'll figure it out. Much love ,636 crew!!!

If your bike is overheating after repairing hoses. Burp the system by opening the coolant reservoir cap, squeezing the hoses quickly many times to pump the air pockets up and out of the reservoir careful not to burn yourself. Run the bike as you burp (squeeze) the hoses and if the engine temp gets too high shut off the motor and allow it to cool a moment. The fluid in the reservoir may (should) be sucked into the system so just refill as needed.

I have a question to you guys that lives at places where water can actually freeze. When the cooland or water is freeze on the cooling system. Why dont you turn on the bike and the ice would melt. It doesnt work this way? By the way, this could damage the water pump wings isn't ? Thanks. Great video bro. By the way... i recomend always use coolant instead of water, not just because the antifreeze properties, but for the lubricant properties to the pump.

Anti-freeze is a worse conductor than water, it cools your engine less efficiently, but you need it if the temperature where you live gets below 0 degrees Celsius, which is the freezing temperature for water (pure). I live in Qatar and the temperature is around 48 degrees C which is 118.4 Fahrenheit. It never gets below 15 C in the winter so I just run 100% distilled water in my bike and it stays relatively cool. Make sure you run pure distilled water and not tap or mineral water because your radiator will get clogged up inside due to electrolysis.

Sounds like bad oil could add on top if you're not stunting. I'd be wondering how old both fluids are at that point. Highest my f4i ever got was 224 after a pretty long sit-down and that was with old old oil. Coolant and radiator were fine. Temp sensor could of had a stroke or something as well not setting off the fan. Only writing this if these tips in the video didn't diagnoss your problem. I truly feel for people dealing with f4i issues at this point lmfao. Good luck and let's check our airbox for oil overflow 😂😂😭

So I got a 1984 Honda Goldwing GL1200 Interstate, just recently I had to change my radiator however despite filling my radiator (100% coolant which may be the issue) w/ the fan running my engine still appears to be overheating all the while setting off my oil pressure light when I ride. With that being said my oil levels are appearing to be a good levels yet the light comes. I'm suspecting that it may either be a oil pump or even my coolant not going through the engine but I don't even know how I could effectively check those things.

Exhaust removes 40% of the heat. I doubt header wraps benefit at all. Probably best to just buy high quality headers/exhaust system and call it a day. The heat is removed with the hot exhaust gases. What I would add to this video is ensuring and adjusting valve clearance, to ensure proper valve overlap timing. The cool air enters the intake valve and cools the exhaust valve as it passes through during valve overlap, this is what cools the engine. Oh and if the bike is running lean, guess what? You guessed it, overheating and burning out the exhaust valves.
@TheSummer7505 жыл бұрын
Best to inform yourself on header wrap, wrapping turbo manifolds, ceramic coating (internally and externally), cold air intake isolation on vehicles. Your engineering theory is incorrect on every point you made. Including air and water cooled engines. You have much to learn.
