The sandwich rolls look brilliant for lunch boxes! My daughter struggles to eat fast enough, so loves to have sushi for lunch (California rolls) so it's quick and tasty (though I'm still learning, and haven't mastered how to make the rice tasty with the mirin). I will try these with her! Would love more ideas for kids lunch box! Xxx

By the way, in this video below I made sushi rice using rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. It's slightly sweet version, and really tasty for me and my husband! If you have a chance, please try this sushi rice (though these are not rolls, but maybe you can skip other part, and just see how to make sushi rice). kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZfUcpt_erCsh6M

I love your channel. Simple and very Japanese and easy to adapt to what one might have in other parts of the world. Some basic stuff is needed though, but even here in Romania I can find them in some shops and online. In Japan I copied many sandwiches in konbinis, my favourite was the simple egg salad sandwich with bread without edges. Made it at home, but easier and almost same cost to hop on the bicycle and go by the 7/11 and buy one plus a cold chuhai, eat in a park on long drives in Fukuoka. Your sandwiches and food is beatiful! Arigato!
