According to the Mario Wiki "the episode's writer Perry Martin explained that he had described the character as "a dashing caricature of Harrison Ford in a leather jacket and a fedora hat." in the script, but that the character model sheets had Indiana Joe drawn without a face and the episode aired anyway, which Martin speculated was because DIC wanted to avoid a potential lawsuit from Harrison Ford or George Lucas" So rather than just drawing a generic face...they left it blank. Classic DIC.

Serious Theory Time: I believe Indiana Joe had a similar issue as Ram Man in He-Man. The character designers were still figuring out what Joe's face would look like, and sent the empty-face model sheets to animation so they could get a head start, adding the faces later when they've finished them. Due to either miscommunication, laziness, or lack of time, the empty-face animation was sent to production before the face was finished and added.

Those interviewers know about the basics of cartoons and they know that those questions are stupid. They intentionally ask stupid, annoying questions they already know the answers to, to provoke and anger the people they're interviewing. They constantly hound and harass celebrities on the spot in the hopes that they'll capture a "freakout" on tape. Anything for the clicks and attention, cause drama sells. Matt was onto their shit, which is why he answered those questions calmly. He handled it well.

Not necessarily an animation error, but an interesting back story. In the original pilot episode for ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’, Rocko is yellow, just how the creator, Joe Murray designed him. When the crew started producing the episodes, Nickelodeon were searching for toy companies to create some merchandise for Rocko before the show began airing. One company was interested in making plush toys of Rocko, but the problem was they already had a property that was yellow and looked similar to Rocko’s design. Nickelodeon urged Joe Murray to change the color of Rocko in the show, so that they could start making toys. Joe wasn’t happy about this and strongly opposed as the whole show was designed around Rocko’s yellow color, change that and they’d have to change everything else in the show too. But ultimately, the powers of Viacom were too much for Murray and had to change Rocko’s color from appealing yellow, to ugly beige. Murray had to come to terms that he no longer owned the rights to Rocko, Nickelodeon did. Joe murray still HATES that color, to this day. And for the final kick in the balls, in the end, the big toy company pulled out and they didn’t make any Rocko toys. So the whole color change in the show was pointless.

I think those were the only commercials that ever actually worked on me. Every time I saw them as a kid I asked my parents to go get me Butterfingers. They only complied 4% of the time. "Dear Fracture Finder, The fabric of space and time is subject to being bent, warped, broken, patched, and repaired. Some universes are particularly prone to this, such as Primax 984.17 Alpha, due to the destruction of Unicron and a Quintesson Time Window left open for far too long. The Decepticon activities on Dinobot Island didn't help much either. Many of those so-called impossibilities are in actuality minor anomalies that soon self-correct, a bot from an earlier or later time or even an entirely different reality slipping in for an instant and returning to their point of origin, with as much consideration paid as to the logic of a dream. The participants are unlikely to notice anything unusual, due to the nature of this phenomenon. Overuse of the Eurythmic Harmony in particular is known to greatly exacerbate temporal anomalies."

According to the Super Mario wiki, a mentioned interview with Perry Martin, the writer of that episode, revealed Joe was supposed to be a characture of Harrison Ford, yet the character sheets had no face to begin with. Season 2: Omega Supreme recounts how the Autobot Constructicons were reprogrammed on Cybertron. Season 3: In a flashback *eight* Constructicons are shown building Megatron.

The original Transformers series was so inconsistent with the Transformer's sizes it was sometimes comical. There were episodes where the Transformers were the same size as humans. If you think about it, they also compacted when they transformed, how could they turn into vehicles larger than a person if they were the size of a human. There were also episodes where Transformers were several times larger than people, to the point where they were far larger than they needed to be to compact when they transformed into items. Plus how did one of the larger Decepticons, Soundwave, transform from someone almost as large as Optimus Prime into a Walkman? The "actual" sizes, the ones established in the comics and designed to be the same in the cartoon were not always followed by the Animators. The "Smaller" bots, like Bumblebee, were supposed to be a little over twice the size of a human and half the size of the "mid" sized bots. The mid sized bots were the normal sized ones, like Ironhide, Starscream and Prowl. Optimus Prime was supposed to be twice the size of the normal/mid sized bots and Jetfire was twice the size of Optimus Prime. There was also a giant autobot, in the series after the movie, which turned into a starship and that was supposed to be the largest autobot in existence. I have no idea how big it was as it's size was all over the place. I believe the largest it was shown to be was something like 30 to 50 times the size of Optimus Prime (as he used it as a transport in one episode walking out of the opening that was a sort of shuttlebay in it's base which showed it's size there) and in another instant he was only 3 to 4 times Optimus Primes size. Both sizes, I just mentioned, were in the same episode lol.

I can explain a few of these. Soundwave shrinking into a cassette player was accomplished with alien tech. (The same reason the transformers guns would appear out of thin air, and where Optimus Prime's trailer went.) Also i think you mean Fortress Maximus. However he only appeared in the very final episode. Prime never rode in his spaceship mode.
