normalizing children being harmed and/or dying in places where they should be taken care of is one of the worst things this country has ever done.

People paid good money to send their kids there, not only that it might further traumatize the kids and make the parents have to explain what happened.

Yall are getting mad for something that could have happened anywhere I’ve been at that camp they deeply care about those kids the fact you are all judging it by accident is crazy if you were on that zoom call you would have heard that the boy was in special needs and probably had some medical issues for breathing.
@franchyzemuzik
@franchyzemuzik Ай бұрын
If the boy was special needs that would make it more egregious that he was left unsupervised. There’s a difference between an accident and gross neglect.
@Xcw804
@Xcw804 Ай бұрын
I’m not trying to say that it wasn’t a gross neglect. All special needs children have there own staff to watch them what I’m trying to say is to not blame Andy for the accident for all he knew was he had trusted a kid’s life with a adult and when that adult is not able to do their job correctly it leads to this what I’m saying is that don’t blame something on one person for something that at the time was out of his reach

@Alex-om9tw Actually the entire camp does need to be blamed. At a bare minimum they should have closed for several days to address any potential training issues that contributed to this senseless death. Several people failed this child. And I'm honestly shocked that any parent would send their child to that camp the following day. I could not with a clear conscious trust them with my child after something so negligent. And they behaved as if it was completely routine. Disgusting.

It can all be prevented instead of having all in pool , have an desinated area (kid pool) where just children from certain age swim have lifeguards on duty. Then older kids have there seperate spot lifeguards on duty.

All those other people in the pool didn’t recognize the boy was having trouble 🤔 How close were they to him🤔 And, we know lifeguards aren’t really there to do nothing more than make money to sit there and play on their phones. It is what it is…Why did the first report not mention he was black or show a photo🤔
@Alex-om9tw

Are you a lifegaurd? I’m assuming not because of how little you about the job, we cannot have our phones, we are trained to help keep everyone safe, we are not focusing on one individual person, and I’m not saying that it isn’t the lifeguards in duties fault, what about the aid that was supposed to be there. The boy snuck into the deep end of the pool and hit his head. That is how he drowned. Just because someone makes a mistake that can happen to anyone. You can’t blame the whole staff. It was a tragic event that I’m sad to say we had to witness.

My condolences to the boy's family and friends. We all asked God what is the to take child home. Of course, no one is really totally satisfied with the Answer, God has a special purpose for young man and his family. Lifeguards have a stressful job without playing the blame game card, so I wouldn't want add more stress and frustration to those Lifeguards on duty. However, I would wonder why they didn't the Buddy System or where was the camp counselor or staff member who should kept a watchful eye on that young man. Again pray the Boy's family so they can keep his presence alive.

A special purpose? Such as? Also, even if that were true, and God took the boy for a special purpose, why do via drowning? Why not peacefully take him when he's asleep instead of having his last moments be filled with terror as he's desperately gasping for air, and possibly traumatizing nearby children seeing him floating in the water? Only a sociopath would actively choose to go that route instead of the first option of taking him while he slept.

why does everyone make this a race thing, he snuck into the deep end of the pool, notice how no one is in that area of the pool? Yes his aide should’ve been there it’s not just one specific persons fault and no matter what skin color he could’ve been it would’ve happened the EXACT same way EVERY time
