How did this boy drown?! He had a one on one plus extra and then the lifeguards. Clearly no one was paying attention to him. And he was special needs, horrible how this little boy needed help and no one helped him! This is the problem now with society. No one does their job. Everyone is all about themselves. People don’t care anymore! Whatever happened to going above and beyond? If you can’t do the job that’s required of you then don’t take the job. Now the one on one aide has a lot of explaining to do and hopefully she’s held accountable for at least negligence and shouldn’t be allowed to work with children ever again. There’s a special kind of person who can take care of the vulnerable. People need to stop taking jobs that require actual care, work and interacting with the less fortunate if they can’t enrich someone’s life then they shouldn’t be in that line of work. I’ve worked with the elderly and special needs and children. This falls under abuse. I can’t imagine what the mom and family are going through. Prayers for the family. RIP little one.

It's not very clear if he had special needs but especially if he did why was no adult in the water with him! He had an aide specifically assigned to him, where was that person! This was so avoidable and extremely sad.

…exactly…! …they had all this so called Aids and devices that are really irrelevant after the fact…!!! Where were these measures before this precious child perished…they wanna holler all this stuff after the boy drowns to create some damage control…but this is indefensible…murder…not just negligence but pure murder because they supposedly had all this pre-knowledge and support but it wasn’t used when it matter…smh… i’m devastated…!!!
