I am so glad this actress (played the grandmother) got to play a good person in this. We get to see her tender looks when her character allows it. Fu Ni is a good little actress. She can deliver long sets of lines, can stand still, look natural, has good tears and smiles. I like her. This was an all around feel good. The family stuck together and prospered. Not only because of the Koi part of the plot, but because they were loyal to one another.
