It cannot and shouldn't be overlooked at all. ... Let me put it (relatively) short, simple & straight .... One cannot justify what Hamas did on 10/07, absolutely no one should. This breaks my heart, but we cannot turn our backs on these people, we cannot close our eyes to their suffering just because it hurts us. That is cowardice, our hurt is nothing to theirs. If all we can do is bear witness to their suffering, to spill our tears and our hearts blood for them, then we have a moral obligation to do that so that even though we are far from them, at least they are not suffering alone.
