Unfortunately its cause he doesnt have a whole lot of evidence to prove that in the moment, it would be considered speculation. At worst the footage of the rescue looks like an accident instead of negligence. What the father said can be seen as something he phrased poorly. Unless worse things (that thankfully didnt) happened, then they can make an arrest and possibly put in an investigation.

I feel for the mother of Mateo. I’ve had a similar situation happen to me with my son when he was 2. We were sleeping in my bed and he ended up waking up and quietly slipping out of bed and figured out how to open our front door and he went out walking around our apartment complex. I woke up to check on him and when I looked over he was gone. I panicked a little because he never wakes up and just gets out of bed without me so I flew out of bed and saw my front door cracked. My heart dropped, and I mean completely dropped and I ran outside and was running up and down all over the complex screaming his name in tears. The police found him on the other end of our complex. He was gone a total of 20 min and it felt like a lifetime. It was terrifying, the worst feeling I’ve ever experienced and I don’t wish it upon any mother/father. It’s really easy for people to say “what a terrible mother for her toddler to get out of the house” or “how does that happen? Why wasn’t that mother watching her child?” But toddlers are quick and it only takes a minute for something like this to happen and it doesn’t always mean the mother is a bad parent.

I feel for mom#1. My son was a little Houdini too. We had locks going all up the door, from deadbolts to chain locks and he would drag a chair to the door and quietly take off early in the morning, or while we were working on something. Once he went into the neighbors backyard kiddie pool, a year later he darted off into a crowd at Disney, and then once he tried roller blading to my job while his father was outside with him changing the oil on his truck to “surprise” me. He was so fearless then. Fast forward 20 years he never leaves the house and refuses to learn to drive.

As a teenager he once got out of the house at night during a storm. Horrible at the time but he was found by someone who also had an autistic kid, walking near a road with one of our dining room chairs on his head. @@samirhandi8945 why does syrian matter? Anybody should be rescuing. Pray like this "Our father who are in heaven hallowed be thy name" - Praising God's holy name. Then "Thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" - That God's will for us to live is to make earth like it is in heaven through our lives meaning since Heaven is pure and holy, goodness and righteous then all those who follow God must do the same to bring Life always to all and Jesus saying "pray like this" meaning thats we should p[ray with our own words but like that. There's more like thanking God for all things and ask God to help against temptation etc. its the "Lord's Prayer" , it doesn't mean pray the same all the time but in our own words as this. That is how the world will stop fighting and all will live in forgiveness and humility, righteous, peace, truth and LIFE. Bless the fisherman and the older men for helping the boy, he handled it well with keeping the kid distracted and encouraging him to keep him calm, and sweet that the older men immediately took the boy in, got the cold shirt off him and covered him up until paramedics arrived

My heart is beating so fast as they rescue Mommy and Baby from the creek with water. Bless each and EVERY one of the people who accomplished this horrific scene successfully.
