Seems like the state doesn't have their shit together. I think all these plea deals were the strategy of the state from the jump,scare tactics to make co defendants fold and turn on Thug in lieu of a strong case. The defendants all have the right to a speedy trial and the fact that some of these guys still don't have attorneys is insane to me.

i find it funny they are going after the "head" of YSL due to RICO charges but when you think about it...... YSL is only a label that is under a much bigger entity which is ultimately Warner Bros. People are being penalized for exercising their right to a jury trial.I have a deeply enduring sense of justice & fairness.. and plea bargaining goes against some of that grain. Everybody accused of a crime in the United States has a right to a fair trial by a jury and if they are cohorts into pleading guilty by the fact that if they go to trial and they get found guilty, they are gonna get a much harsher sentence then what they would get if they plead guilty.. it’s violating the constitution.

This is why you evoke your right to a speedy trail and NEVER agree to any court date past the 90 days. The public would be surprised at how many times cases get tossed out because the state couldn't get ready in time. These clowns suppose to be real thugs but are nothing but real ignorant to the court room🙃 For the record the state gets multiple extensions 1-30 day/1-15 day/and a final calendar call 5 days after the last 15 day extension. After the judge does the calendar call and the state isn't ready " witnesses not located, officers not deposition, the judge will dismiss the charges with prejudice. This means the state can't bring charges against you again. Most states attorney offices will noll process the case to reserve the right to charge you within 6 months. Sometimes they'll come back within 6 months and charge but most of the time they don't. I've beaten several cases like this. No need to be a 🐀 or be a fool and be thier slave by pleading guilty. Keep ya mouth shut invoke your right to speedy trial and stay off the jails phone. I'm sick of these kids trying to be gangsters wich they're clearly not.

You can't nor can the defendants, nor can anyone else save for an entertainer or the like. Both of you would be in the exact same position. This is not a DWI charge to which you get a flat rate, it's a RICO charge to which you are billed hourly and that cost is a part of the tactic RICO is built on. Not to mention this is all occurring while the defendants are given no bail and a jail phone to try and line up and coordinate a defense. Some may or may not have family on the outside that can do this for them, and the jail doesn't offer to help you contact your financial institutions to make arrangements. The "craziest" part of the trial is the fact these guilty pleas from those unable to afford a defense will be used as evidence in the trial against Young Thug when there might be zero real evidence preceding it. Watch for the offer of a plea to Thug come, with a harsh but shorter than 50-year sentence. You might see convictions across the board without having heard or seen a single piece of real evidence and the entire case and convictions predicated and finished with just the threat of the sentence and the guilty pleas with Thug having no real recourse but to accept the deal or spend the rest of his life in prison. That is unconstitutional and frankly, inhumane.

They don't indict people only to then happily let them go with probation. It happens, but not because it's the desired outcome. For all of that they could simply tell the gang in a letter through the mail that we know what you are doing, and we are going to file a RICO if you do not quit. That simple threat right there would have most people quit full stop.
