The sad part is how the person setting up the battle will favor one side and ensure that side gets an advantage. In an open field the Roman Generals would overwhelm the laser knights. So they insured the Romans would just slowly trickle into a slaughter.

I mean, that's now the gamer favoring either side, that's the terrain working for them. How these battles turn out on different maps is half the fun. And despite their disadvantage, the Romans did win in the end.

I don't agree with you. The field helped the romans for two reasons: 1) they could attack from different angles forcing laser knights to split in small groups. And small groups are more easily overwelmed. 2) when a lot of jedies got stuck in a small place they could not alternate first line. So, if you consider how many hits a jedy con suffer before dieing it's an advantage, cause the romans where hitting always the same warriors. And it's better to hit five time the same jedy then one time five different ones. That's the only way to kill a jedy in a quite fast way. That's why laser knights lost.

This was a very good battle! Once the Roman Generals were able to thin out the Jedis and get them surrounded it was all over.

unlike other factions who form lines and try not to get flanked, jedis keep cutting down enemies till they are deep into enemy lines and outflanked
