It's rare that good men step forward and put themselves in jeopardy for country. Thank God for men like Thomas Drake.

America is not an American country only. No disrespect to any country or nationality, but We invite the enemy in. This isn’t the 1950s or 60s version of whistleblowers reporting to the everyday staunch supporter of the American way forward (not that they were a perfect ppl or this a perfect country)…. Today, whistleblowing reveals more news of our goof ups to the enemy than it does to the everyday American born here embodying American ideals. This is chess, not checkers. This guy cried out loud because he didn’t get his way. His fault. He should be jailed.

@@MilkyWayGalaxyy That's an interesting statement. I've known people raised in the same household with the same parents - - (who were very moral and good people) who went in totally opposite directions - one being a criminal and the other I can only describe as a saint. So, no, it's not only their parents, but decisions that each of us make to do the right and honorable thing.

TY EXCELLENT ARTICLE. I beleive he was not only protecting the constitution but the right to protect a legal injustice on the part of our own GOVERNMENT against its own constitution, country, & individual liberty of Americans to be free until proven guily. They took a freedom away from us and he was protecting us. He shouldn't even be standing trial periond.

Oldest mindset on the planet, “Do not tell truth to power.”, because those who do reveal the ineptitude and corruption of those in power and reveal what true heroes are. The heroes are the ones that place truth and morality above the priorities of those who covet power.

The government talks about the whistleblower act oh will protect you. Hayden is the one that needs to be prosecuted. That is the thief. Hayden is a joke just another government clown stealing as much as he can and passing the blame to someone else. This shows just how much waste is in the government.

One reason a lot of would-be whistleblowers don't come forward is they are threatened with lawsuits, and the cost to defend oneself can quickly bankrupt an individual.

as of 10.26.18...The Obama administration’s prosecution of National Security Agency whistleblower Thomas Drake collapsed this week, days before his trial was set to begin. Prosecutors dropped felony charges under the Espionage Act; Drake pled to a single misdemeanor and will not go to prison. “This is a victory for national security whistleblowers and against corruption inside the intelligence agencies,” said my colleague Jesselyn Radack at the Government Accountability Project, which led the support campaign for Drake. “No public servant should face 35 years in prison for telling the truth.”

Hey CBS Legal Dept., are you trying to become primary donor to DOJ enforcement for Americans with Disabilities Act? You have been well on your way with 100s of documented cases of your publishing videos on Internet without captions. You have been continually denying rights of over 38 million Deaf and hard of Hearing US citizens to equal access via captions. 60Minutes/CBS and Google continue to ignore US federal equal access laws for public accommodations like the Internet and provide accurate, synchronized captions for equal access. Why? How about doing an investigation on Google and CBS blatant failure to operate legally and ethically, while claiming to "do no evil" and to operate as ethical "journalists"? 12-6-2021
@B_Bodziak
@B_Bodziak 3 жыл бұрын
Why do you suppose they aren't providing captions? Is there some gain in it for CBS? It would seem more if a CBS issue than Google/YT. Why don't you file a claim with the ADA? It may take some time for them to get to your case, but it costs you nothing to open a claim.

The answer is relatively simple. It’s reasonable and desirable to sign a confidentiality agreement, with the stipulation that there is no corruption and/or Constitutional breeches. The government/politicians are always finding ways to hide their shenanigans, but expect everyone else to sit around and shut-up. I’m so tired of all the lying for money and power. And that stupid excuse “the general public can handle the truth “ is wearing thin, as well.
