Thomas Drake is a former senior official of the National Security Agency (NSA) whom the Justice Department prosecuted under the Espionage Act. In June 2011, the case against him collapsed, but he endured four years of investigation and faced 10 felony counts after he used internal mechanisms to disclose serious wrongdoing concerning a data collection program called "Trailblazer." That program was costly, wasteful and ineffective; it threatened Americans' privacy rights, and was wholly undeveloped -- despite the availability of a cost-effective, functional alternative that protected Americans' privacy. Ultimately, the Department of Justice (DOJ) dropped all felony counts against him, and the judge excoriated DOJ lawyers for their conduct. Drake is the recipient of the 2011 Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling, regarded in the U.S. as the highest honor that a whistleblower can receive.

I've always thought Thomas Drake was & is a great man. I wanted to watch some more video's with him speaking. The only thing I didn't like with this one was he was cut off from finishing what he had been talking about too many times. I would have thought GAP would have let him at least finish each sentence but other than that, I am so glad this was posted and is still up on KZbin. Thank you for uploading it for us Americans to watch....

If I were President Trump I would officially pardon this man and then ask him politely to take the reins of NSA. Along with Bill Binney and all the others who have been ostracized for being true patriots on behalf of "We The People" as proven by their own words and actions.

It seems to sound like the day to day career workers/employees are doing their best to be honorable to our country, constitution, bill of rights, people/citizens but the new people that come in as political appointees seem to cause the majority of trouble. At least this is the perception I'm getting.

Da Guy I agree. Drake speaks for many at NSA. I’m saddened by the lack of support he got from elected officials and political appointees. Basically, I find them worthless.

I saw something where a middle eastern taxi driver said something about airplanes being vulnerable...being flying bombs and he said it about a year before 9/11. The info was out there, the NSA knew it was a distinct possibility but did nothing at all about the information. Why? Idk but with $3.6 BILLION DOLLARS you'd think they could spare a few agents to peel back some layers and see if there was anything sketchy going down. A million seconds is 11.5 days. A billion seconds is almost 32 years. So yeah, $3.6 billion per year.....that was 23 years ago, im sure its more now. Billionaires get juicy tax breaks every time Republicans get the Whitehouse.

Just the fact of living in an alterd state as a whilsteblower should be penatly enough, and i truely feel its something the "public" should have a thought about. What happens 2 people who are not allowed 2 conform 2 the goverments and its system and what happens 2 them socially.

I can't believe that the Obama administration was part of your persecution but I understand why you had thought things would be different under his presidency. About a third of Obama's 2008 campaign speech were mine. I too was in the government's terrorism program but I wasn't a government employee. I was a victim of a corrupt injustice system that had thrown away the law, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. They had tortured me to cover up government employee's felonies by committing even more felonies to try to get me to not tell anyone what they did. I hadn't even committed a crime. They had poisoned me and my mom while monitoring my apartment. The speech parts came out when I protested my treatment and loss of America to my cat, you do that when they isolate you. They were initially just mocking me with the speeches but I trapped them when "Meet the Press" started mocking Obama with a video of him leaving the stage. Yeah, Tim Russert had some secrets. You see, I believed those words and was hoping Obama would protect us, but we all found out that the deep state, feminists, and fake Jews owned him because they had supplied the speeches. He didn't seem to realize that I was freeing him from their bondage until his second term. I just hoped he would restore freedom to America. I had been poisoned so bad that I really couldn't do anything more than send out an occasional email and the only issue I really tried to defended was the right to bare arms, because I know what we Americans need to fear.
