I have been living in Helsinki for 4 years. Trust me, no Finnish people speaks with the foreigners. They hate to see other nationalities in their country. It doesn't matter to talk fluently Finnish language, whoever asks a question, they just avoid of you and never answer any questions if you need their help. So, you don't need to learn puhukieli, kirjalieli is enough for you. 😉 👍🏻 Probably you can just speak Finnish with just the immigrants in Finland, most of them study for Yki test and they always look for someone to make speaking practice. I organized two years Language Cafe in Helsinki. Noone needs to talk in Finnish, most of them speak English, Spanish, Russian, Swedish, German.
