I am a native Vietnamese speaker. I took a English listening test and found it was quite difficult. I wonder what if I try with my native language. So I tried this video. I find it difficult too. So about listening test in any language, it not only requires listening skill, but also short-term memory, quick analysis. There are even traps by making lots of misleading information or a lot of statistics which requires to memorize in no time. So don't worry if you as foreigners can't understand much of it. Talking in real life would be much easier than taking this kind of test, as I do with native English speakers.

in fact, i strongly belive that all the listenning test in all language are more difficult than real life, because it contains a lot of trap and candidate cannot remember all the data. i am vietnamese and i find it is too hard for me to do this text. the same situation happen when i do english listenning test.

The test use "Hán Việt" word so much. And the phonics was very clear than real life (my voice)

I'm a native Vietnamese speaker. This test is not hard for the Vietnamese as many people here said, but the key here is we (Vietnamese) usually don't really focus on the test, and maybe don't understand the layout of the test so it results that we don't do it well. I mean yes, the struggle you meet here is exactly what I meet when doing the IELTS listening test.

Depends on your accent. I can understand the southern accent just fine even though I’m not fluent. Northern accent might as well be another language to me.

I am Vietnamese and if I do not take note the info of the test, I think I will not select at all. The test requires tester who has a good and logic memory. Anyway, it is quite hard.

Người nước nào nghe bài test ngôn ngữ của nước đó cũng thấy mệt, mệt ở đây là nó ko giống ngoài đời =))) nghe như đám robot nói chuyện. Cái dốt nát nhất của đào tạo ngôn ngữ là cách tiếp cận sai từ ban đầu, cứ dạy REAL mẹ đi cho người ta dễ hòa nhập, dạy ba cái tào lao, thi điểm cao xong đi định cự cái mặt đần thối ra =)))
