Oh... Forgot to mention... Pressure testing is usually done hydraulically. Ie with water since it doesn't compress if a tank ruptures at 2000psi it's not going to kill everyone in the room. You can get stuff to do water pressure tests yourself, but even filling the jar with water before pumping air into it will lessen the amount of air that can expand explosively.

Argh yes water leveling floating moulds unless the pressure sinks it lol & negative space saver testing all in one. Or pump it under water like an inner tube test. I didn't want to expose the plywood cap reinforcement to water as crude & cheap as I've made my pots 🫙 just to see why it hadn't really been done this way on my initial searches 🕵🏼♂️🔍 for videos 📹🎬🎞️🎬. Safe & effective internet 🌐 hiding danger from us all or only promoting products to sell made in c***a 🤑💱👀🙄😵💫😉. (The 14th water test didn't work well for Oceangate, as a vessel but that's besides any point, external pushing 🫸🏼🫙 drums 🛢️ in the deep 🫷🏼 what an oppressive atmosphere) People often debate what works best for resin & silicone pours pressure or degassing vacuum. It seems as simple as if it's not cured under pressure degas it job done 👍🏼. The heavy element will push the air out 🫷🏼🫧🫸🏼, wanting to sink to the lowest depths. Silicone objects tend to want to expand a little 🤏🏼 when in the open air though like deep sea creatures out of there depth, countering potential future mould shrinkage. Curing in a vacuum will do the opposite. So you could calculate -40 psi outer mould cure +40 psi cure for the object reproduction give or take a few Psi for best use & shrinkage 🤷🏼♂️. How boring is this learning curve 😁.

To be fair I trust this pot more than the larger plastic jelly beans pot I just finished.
