The advantage of galleries is their client list... that's why they take a 50% cut.

Btw - Virtual reality art isn’t brand new. People have been creating art in virtual reality for at least 20 years. But yeah, most people don’t know this. But at least 1million people know about it. I’m one of them. I am currently participating in my 4th Burning Man event. I’ve also been in selling art in virtual reality galleries for 15 years. It’s a really cool thing if you’re not ‘self limiting’.

@@driesketels I think they're referring to Burning Man on Second Life, where everyone eventually ends up chilling out around Danger Ranger's campfire. Or they're talking about some other virtual galleries and are actually still on the physical playa doing the last tasks of Resto.

VR or AR cuz literally I'm working with the tech since 2011 and we'll sounds like something no one can do 20 years ago we work with AR, MR and a really basic VR for public use art wasn't a thing to do the devices and capacity were really limited, but maybe it's my ignorance and you can enlighten me

Regarding art in a virtual reality environment: my roommate wrote some music for a performance in Second Life. Is this the kind of virtual reality art you mean?
