I like the difference between Etho and Docs approach to wither technology. Doc: After months of research by the hivemind, we have developed a cage that will hold over 60 withers and we can control where their blue skulls go, allowing us to destroy blocks automatically without tnt duping and terrorise people on the server. Etho: I let loose 60+ withers in a cave... You can get a lot of deepslate and its fun.

So true! I'm struggling to understand how Doc's plan to spawn and contain 64 withers in the perimeter isn't the most insane thing to happen on the Hermitcraft server this week. What on Earth were Tango, Cub, Etho and X thinking? _Were_ they thinking?

@@chrizzie1 Doc's withers aren't buried deep underground and are very close to a large number of bases. Withers buried deep underground and probably hundreds or thousands of blocks away from everything else are relatively harmless even if not fully "contained" in a cage.

@@gamedokter I love Tango, but he's said many times, his powers of observation are highly limited. I couldn't watch him play No Mans Sky a few months back... I started and I was yelling at all of them. It may be a difficult game at the start but if you read, things go much better. I quit that video. To be honest I did the same thing with Scar, False, Ren and Xisuma.

Pretty sure the server would crash, because Doc brings along his Mob Nullifier (or whatever he calls it) that negates all mob spawning by filling the mob cap. Both Withers and Wardens do not despawn. So my best, un-educated guess is that it would crash

@@Liedson9000 it wouldn't. the mop cap is only relevant for regular random mob spawning. If you go above it, all that happens is that no more mobs spawn randomly. The game can handle way more mobs than the mob cap, although ofc at some point you get lag and possibly crashes because of that. But you'd need way more mobs than that.

I both want this season to end and never want it to end. On one hand, Decked Out 2 will be available once it’s finished. On the other hand, less Hermits will be brutally slaughtered in the dark chambers.

Couple of suggestions I'd love for you to consider! 1) If you do make treasure and ember only drop on the player's current floor, then maybe make beast sense and hazard do that too? beast sense so they don't get confused by beasts on other floors (although maybe the range would reach multiple floors from one bell idk), and hazard cause otherwise by the time they reach floor 4 there likely will be a number of hazards already triggered. 2) a 'dev button' which triggers beast sense on a certain floor, so that u can quickly and easily check to see how many ravagers are on a level so u know when to replace them

It's almost impossible to limit Beast Sense to a single floor since it is the bell and it has a spherical range.

I'm sure there's flaws and tango probs won't even see this anyway, and if he does then he'll probably see the flaws and judge for himself of the ideas are worth it or not

I'm convinced Tango is the most talented generalist Hermit. He's both an amazing builder and an amazing redstoner. I haven't been watching any of his streams, So I don't even know how many hours have gone into setting up the redstone for this project, but it's by far on the the most complex and unique situations I've seen redstone used for. Literally making a custom game inside a game. And the megabase he's building all this in is one of the most impressive hermit builds I've seen.

I like the direction you've taken in recent streams of traps outright killing hermits with lava and using wither roses and magma blocks instead. The hermits who aren't confident parkourists shouldn't be so heavily punished. Chipping away some hp and consuming extra time is enough penalty for them.

5:29 that shot broke my brain for well over a minute! I saw the pit, I saw the gam starting to grow, but for whatever reason that shot put a whole lot more perspective on the scale of things for me. Wish, I had even half as much sanity, as Tango must have lost over Deced Out 2. I feel like that putting withers to work for you run was Ethos pre-thanks for all the times he will die in DO, he just thought up a way to make it sound nicer. with how big a project Decked out is, I think doing more colab work is in order, possibly taking on an apprentice for future decked outs, if you choose to do them. possibly two apprentices, whether they're experienced in big projects like Impulse...or a more background hermit like welsknight, that could use more interplay with other hermits...it could make a project of this insane magnitude more doable.

The shriekers will only spawn wardens if triggered by a player. The withers themselves will not spawn any new wardens.

Improvement to Wither Mining: build a water stream into a bubble column into a PILE of hoppers/chests near your spawn point. Tango did something similar for a mining project in IIRC S6(?), you can just dump your inventory into the water and let the game handle things from there. It’s faster and easier than messing with ender chests.

You should Elder Guardians in Decked Out, then you'll have every "semi-boss" mob in the dungeon. Ravagers, Wardens, and Elder Guardians!

Dra3oon is correct, the arrow was a bubblin. A couple of recommendations: maybe wire up comparators to the dispensers in the dungeon, and then back to a dashboard somewhere. Then you can jus go to the dashboard to see whether anything needs refilling. You could wire up the dispensers into an OR gate, that way you only need one bus line for dispensers empty. You could even be smart about how you do it such that each level is a different OR gate - so that when the indicator light is on, you can go to the OR gate for each level to tell where thr dispenser is. Hazard traps - you should probably add a reset circuit, like for the place at 3:38. If you use one tick spitting pistons to toggle the blocks, you could send a long pulse to reset it. Third - you could use litematica during debug phase to check for inconsistencies between various things

Hey tango i play this game called the longing it's quite interesting maybe give it a Google but within the game itself there's this concept of a "disappointment" it's a game set in a cave to give you a basic idea but you get "disappointments" when you find a dead end area of the cave and i think it could be something cool to be used with the card crafting system could be something funny to add in for the hermits to get a laugh and perhaps they get them as some commemorative trophies for being the first person to find them within the game it's just one piece of paper called a "disappointment". I was just watching your traps vod and thought it might be a good idea I'll post it again when you next upload in the hopes you see it.
