I can understand my father was Polish as well, his unit was captured by the Germans, his brothers unit was captured by the Russians, my father managed to escape across the Western front and resettled in Scotland with other Polish soldiers, his brother was never heard of again. He would never speak of his experiences I learnt all this from my mother. After the war half his relatives lived in East Germany so he never saw them, and he was advised to never return to Poland as he may be prevented to come back. I only hope common sense kicks in but I doubt it when we have a PM who can't even describe what a woman is, our lives are in the hands of the mentally insane.

The main financial players and mechanisms that will likely be involved include: the EU through grants & low interest loans, the US and other NATO member countries, the Woprld Bank, the IMF and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), private financing and through siezed assets there might even be a Ruble or three, not that they're worth anything right now.

Russia invaded Crimea, Donbas, and Luhansk and shot down MH17 from Ukrainian territory in 2014. Casualties in the Donbas and Luhansk war, both military and civilian deaths, were about evenly divided between the Russian backed separatists and Ukrainian loyalists. Agreed. I was a child growing up in a war and there are no winners in any war. All those young men on both sides are sons, fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins. What have we learned from the world wars - absolutely nothing. Talking about boots on the ground when thousands are being killed daily.
