Chicago rapper 600 Breezy opened up about his cousin RondoNumbaNine getting 40 years, along with Cdai, in the murder of a taxi driver. Breezy went to every hearing in the case, and he explained that all the witnesses were telling a different story, which is why he was so surprised that Rondo and Cdai were convicted.
Speaking of witnesses, 600 Breezy revealed that Rondo's Defense Attorney let him see the documents in the case, which showed that Tay600 accused Rondo of shooting the cab driver. You can hear more of what he had to say on Tay600 and the case in the above clip.

Discovery is made public in the beginning stages of every case (or should be, unless prosecutors are on bullshit, at which point they'll withhold it). It's just not made readily available for any and everyone to get. But no, nothing illegal was done by them being able to see any statements made with regards to the case. Only in big time federal cases, like RICO statute cases is discovery kept sealed. In a murder case, in the courts of a city that sees multiple murder cases every day, they wouldn't be sealed. I'm not saying one way or another if Tay snitched or not, because I wasn't there, and neither was anyone else in these comments acting like they passed the bar, but yeah, specifically to your comment, the lawyer didn't do anything wrong.

You don't get charged with Contempt for being a subpoena witness you have to make a statement in order for that because he could have been subpoenaed and went and plead the 5th AFTER they read your statement he knew only way that statement would never show up is if he ditched trial n get charged with Contempt. He most likely was subpoenaed to be a witness, when you are subpoenaed you have to show up or you can get arrested, since he was already in jail then it didn't matter they just submitted the request to the jail and they brought him to court everyday. You don't have to snitch to be brought in to be questioned as a witness. The fact of the matter is when the real paper work was submitted Tay 600 name was not anywhere to be seen. If he had truly witnessed the alleged murder he most likely would have been on trial as well, even with a plea bargain through "snitching"he would have still done some time (5-15 years). They don't just let you off for conspiracy to commit murder (Which is treated like you did the crime by just knowing that crime took place.)
