I replaced the laces on my Jim Greens, Baobob and my African Rangers, with the leather laces from Rose Anvil. Love em and they look awesome and give me a better fit than the original laces. Bootbreakers are awesome as well.

I had no idea they were called roper boots. I had the same style before, now I prefer Chelsea boots. Glad to be learning more with every video

Yesss, cut them in half. I like the wedges in brown, will have to get some.

Heritage pirate is too accurate 😂 also the whole “hipsters” thing reminds me of this guy I see on Reddit attacking men in fashion subs for rolling their pants and seems legitimately enraged by it lol
@UnbrokenBeliever7 күн бұрын
I mean the pants-rolling is pretty cringe

@@UnbrokenBeliever to a degree, can definitely be overdone. But people have been doing it for a 100 years, just funny to be really triggered by it.

I shamelessly roll my jeans. I have 3 pairs of jeans, all selvedge raws. I like that little pop of color from the selvedge and I won't apologize.

That feathered mid sole puts a pressure point on my foot that never breaks in. I have a pair of whites ramblers with that mid sole in them and over the last three years they have still never become very comfortable for me.

сапоги выглядят превосходно, допельная затяжка, подошва вибрам+ чепрак все супер.....такое чувство будто в каблуке не хватает одного флика и будет другой вид, но это мое мнение

Heya got a pair after your video - I sized down half size but still concerned it will be too big. Are you still sure you’re going to a 9? Full size down from your brannock? 🙏

Got some questions for ya on this one big dog. So whites says that their 1970 last is "Our widest last through the ball area". Did you get a D width and feel a little more room with this boot? Whites only offers D or EE for this boot and I got a 10 E brannock size. Knowing what width whites sent you would really help dial in what size i order.

You have to get a pair of the archer jk is dropping they look dope. These are sweet to not my style tho my step dad wears the engineers when he rides and pulls it off I personally can’t really get down with that style but they doo look sweet

I'm with you on engineer boots but oddly I like the tankers, I'm neither an engineer or a tanker and I'd wear the latter if I were cooler.

Good looking boot at a nice price right now. Why’d they have to do the sale right now, just before Christmas? I guess everyone has been bad this year so I’ll just give them a lump of coal and swaddle my feet in a new pair of boots, lol.

What’s a “roper boot”? Anyway, I like White’s. The last pair from Division Road were on point. But these ones look like the rubber boots that ladies wear in the rain on their way to the office. Cut them in half. Or at least don’t wear them in public.

Just cannot fathom how I would justify that rough-out/smooth-reverse concept.
@strictlykev3117 күн бұрын
Yea it doesn't make a lot of sense particularly for the lighter colors... I have full roughout roper boots and the shaft picks up a lot more dirt from my pants.. always loved how bottom hides the scuffs this wouldn't serve much purpose

I have no problem with people wearing whatever boots they want but when a barista buys a Nicks Logger with 6 months worth of tips and then bitches about the weight and break in you gotta laugh.😄

I get the whole work boot complaint actually. Sure people are free to wear whatever boots they want, but sometimes when a blue collar working guy who'd like to be able to afford a high end pair of boots for work see's a white collar desk jockey wearing a pair thats all polished & shiny or intentionally distressed it can tick a guy off a bit. I'd much rather see people embracing traditional rugged American outerwear snd workwear instead of the disgusting saggy pants hip hip / cRAP trends or wasting money on overpriced " limited edition " worthless chinese sweatshop sneakers...etc That doesn't mean I think people should go playing dress up as a blue collar guy for instantgram pictures or whatever. If you just like the timeless traditional clothing that's fine, but if you're going to buy a good pair of work boots you should do some manual labor in them. Yardwork, general home maintenance / repairs...etc. At the very least have some kind of intention and purpose for them beyond just style, do something that benefits from durable footwear. Riding a motorcycle, hunting, camping/ woodcraft, a hobby like woodworking or car repair...etc

I gotta side with the boomers on this one. Im tired of seeing guys buy an offroad truck that never sees an unpaved road...or 600$ work boots, so they can walk around a shopping mall... its gay.
