Definitely hurts it. I have a Yordan Rookie Auto from Chronicles numbered to 5, and last time I saw one of them sell, it sold for $79. That card should be a couple hundred easy, probably closer to 300 than 200.

As a cubs fan, the classic thing I learned growing up was the Tinkers-Evers-Chance double play!

C+ The only reason I didn't score it lower, they seem to have some good jersey pieces on the relic hits. Also, I like the design. Aside from that, the checklist gets an F. If you were opening this box blind and just naming off the names, one might think you're opening a box of Flagship Topps. EVERYBODY gets a card. Also, Panini is really bad about killing the value of the rare hits like booklets and 1 of 1s. Those hits should be less common, and reserved for big named guys. Nobody should ever have to hit a 1 of 1 and go "mehhh". I'm sure the big named guys will sell for a small fortune, but seems like hitting those guys is pretty tough.

The third box was definitely the best out of the bunch followed by the fourth box. But for $2400 worth of boxes, I could have bought an incredible Nolan Ryan card (my all,time favorite player). Big time signature, superfractor, etc and his cards will hold value if not go up. Certain players, especially all,time greats can weather the ups and downs of the card market long term. That's all I was thinking about while seeing these cards, lol.

Yoshi Tsuesugo... I probably could have had a better batting average them him, lol. I loved that Ryne Sandberg auto/bat relic. Side note, Jabs, even though Mccutchen is out of his prime, I am so excited to see him back home. He will mesh well with our young guys, and he will add a little spark to the lineup.

Just a guess, but that "American Looking" Joe Ryan card triggered my memory - Joe Ryan helped pitch Team USA to a silver in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. His stat line was pretty nice. He was 1-0. Pitched 10.1 innings with 8 Ks to only one BB, with an ERA of 1.74. ....Yes, I'm a Twins fan. :D

Obviously, any time you open Panini, its a gamble. I opened one box of 2022 National Treasures and pulled a 1/1 printing plate RC auto, Ken Griffey Jr HOF used bat auto and a Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig and Roger Maris jersey booklet! So, the product can absolutely be worth buying and opening!

Frank Chance is more famous than you realize. Perhaps the most famous baseball poem is an ode to the Cubs infield. The poem is titled Baseballs Sad Lexicon, and it follows. These are the saddest of possible words: "Tinker to Evers to Chance." Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds, Tinker and Evers and Chance. Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble, Making a Giant hit into a double Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble: "Tinker to Evers to Chance." Frank Chance also went on to become a manager. Winning 100 games 4 times in a span of 5 seasons. He was the first MLB manager in history to have 4 seasons with 100 wins and to this day remains one of only 8 to achieve that feat. He is still the only one to do it over a five year stretch.

If im paying that much for a box I want bigger base relics (Heyward, Tatis, etc.), base topps will give you a bigger relic. I don't want sticker autos on a product like this and if I'm paying this much I want all my cards to be autos and/or relics I dont like the treasured jersey numbers those are nothing to me if I buy this I also think that Joe Ryan relic wasn't sitting in the card right

Seemed to be very hit or miss. Too few superstars. Lots of "C" level or lower players. Unless you get a hit, you've got around $100-$300 in cards in a box.
