That’s a lot of apartment for 600 bucks. You got a deal. Love the high ceilings and large windows throughout the space. As to the vignette near the entrance hall you asked about: it I were doing it, I’d put a console table there with a lamp to one side, and then maybe put your silver colored framed mirror above the table - either mounted to the wall or propped on the console table if you don’t want to blemish the wall. It was be a nice area for guests to leave a purse or hat while they’re visiting. Gorgeous apartment !!

Now is the best time to enjoy Malaysia.. We're on the verge of becoming a developed / high income country, but prices are still at developing country level... I have a feeling things are going to be way more expensive in the next five years, once the wages in Malaysia rise to high income level. Even now, some of my friends earning in USD are already feeling the impact of rising Malaysian Ringgit..

Hello Andrew - it's been an age since I've had time to check in with you! I love your new & finished apartment, with lovely pools. Your aesthetic style is perfect for the apartment. Clean lines with a delightful points of interest every here and there, ie the little sculptures etc. Earl Grey looks like a happy little puss too! OH - I nearly forgot, the couch for the guest room is perfect, warm wood tones with the wood floor - such a comfy inviting room now.

Hi Taylor, At last we get to see your new apartment! You've done a fine job with the furnishings and decor. So contemporary yet oozing comfort. Both daytime and nighttime views are spectacular. With all the additional amenities, it looks like you are going to love living there! I'm no expert but I think your entrance might best be given some practical use by placing a small table there, together with an unobtrusive lamp off to the side, and some sort of a small tray to accommodate anything that a visitor might bring in with them.
