On this weeks Video
We take out this 600+RWHP VE SS Ute! n only just live to tell the tail haha this ute has had a LOT of work done to it and the power its making to the rear wheels is very very healthy.. this is sadly an auto but let me tell you it makes no difference when your laying your foot into her! This ute with just the quickest press of the pedal will instantly start spinning and make you feel like your driving on ice.
The Standard VE SS cars are OK.. not the best but still a solid car.. never been a huge fan of the style but let me tell ya with the mods this car has done to it.. it will put a smile on anyone's face whos in it!
Mod list as follows:
600hp at the rear wheels v8 Auto, tuned, Dynoed,verified
Harrop 2300 supercharger
75mm pulley upgrade
Mild Cam - Come roller cam
upgraded internal components to suit cam
hi-stall torque converter
3.5 inch stainless steel exhaust pacemaker extractors and Hi Flow Cats
Aftermarket VF GTs drive train - diff, axles, tails shaft, transmission
$3000 sound system
Brembo Brakes
VF GTS Alloy wheels

On the track days ive done there's always a few beginner guys in utes like this, one time it started to rain and both came in cause it was to dangerous as they couldn't keep them straight. However they are the ultimate bogan sports car ;)

Top review👍, nice tough ute. If it scares you; but in a good way, that makes it more fun & less ordinary, right?. I have a blue vfss ute(my 1st V8) it's fun to drive, no circle work yet or 11's.

@@RossReviewsau when i started watching your channel, your accent threw me off a little. I thought why was there Aussie cars in the U.S/Canada .Then i recognized the scenery as Australian. It's pretty cool what you're doing, you get to drive some amazing car's.

Yass love it another good review Ross. I'm looking to put a harrop 2650 into mine it will be insane once it's done. You say you don't really like the ve's I have the ve ssv z series with all the leather sunroof and custom gauges that were custom made specifically for the car. I reckon you would change your mind 😆. Looking forward to the next one mate.

do it bro!! they seriously make the car that much more insane! the instat power is unreal. i am not the biggest fan of the base VE models but yours by the sounds of it would def change my mind! haha your ute will be a beast with the blower on! cheers for the support

@@RossReviewsau yeah that's it mate soon for sure. I am mates with the female owner of that vf clubby you reviewed a while back that's charged deffinately makes a difference. And yeah I no what you mean about the base model that's why I went for the one with factory brembos, leather, entertainment system, sunroof and other minor things making it a bit nicer then the base ve especially the 2008 series one. Chances are you have seen it out and about if your around the scene in the West.

What an awesome video if this was In like 2 year's from now I would serious consider bying it and the price on the add is very resonal. I also love the commit In the add that anyone under the add of 25 will not be able to test drive this car for everyone safety lol

Too bad that in Australia you hav to wait for open just to drive any supercharged engine or turbocharged petrol engine (turbocharged diesel is acceptable) and you cant have 8 or more cylinder@@RossReviewsau

I like the maloo and I also would love a Holden first generation Colorado with an LSA or a 350 Chev engine swap

There is a tuner called Harrop that gets second gen Colorado’s and gives them a supercharged petrol LSA engine swap @@RossReviewsau

I had limited info on this car unfortunately but i don't think so.. the auto did feel a bit clunky at this power level

Manuals are great till bout 320rwkw but once your up around 400rwkw plus its very hard to get traction in a manual.. thats when the autos are better as they hold the power down alot better.. thats speaking from experience

Hi Ross i live in Perth and have similar set up with just slightly less power but mine is a Calias v Wagon and i have a g tech to measure 0 to 100 and have done 4.2 on the street and 3.48 @the motorplex on drag radials that ute should be faster than mine as it has slightly more power and mine is 150 kgs heavier.

very nice m8! still yet to sit in a calias... that is some seriously quicktime! the drag radials doing their job! i think your right with the right tire and surface set up this could easily get a similar time! could only imagine that pull!
