Officially, this is a song about the cruelty of small children. And I agree. I was one of those children that was on the other side - one of the ones who had cruelty forced on her. Did you know that a friend of mine got a lens of his glasses put out and consequently needed stitches on his eyelid? A teacher saw everything from less than five feet away and no consequences were had, save my friend and his family needing to shell out money for new glasses and stitches for his eyelid.
