The desire to alter consciousness has been a part of human culture for millennia. People seek substances for various reasons-pain relief, escape, social connection, or simply curiosity. Understanding these motivations is crucial for addressing addiction effectively. It often involves a combination of psychological, social, and environmental factors. To create lasting change, we need to focus on education, mental health support, and community resources that address the underlying issues driving substance use.

The death and the destruction that drugs cause both in terms of blood shed between warring factions for control, innocent people trying to live, operate businesses, and raise their families caught in the crossfire, not to mention how many lives and families ruined due to addiction is so overwhelming. The place is all f***ed up now and the bathtub hole/tunnel was filled with concrete. I took a broken lighter from the floor as a souvenir, haha.
