The problem of the world is sin. Eternal life cannot coexist with sin. Eternal life is characterized by love and peace, as evil will ultimately destroy itself. Artificial intelligence lacks an understanding of good and evil, and its creators are unable to fully control evil in their lifes. God has provided a solution: "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me. "(J 1:29-32) "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (J 14:6)

@@eurowan The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. (John 3:16-21)

The ULTIMATE Super-Intelligence System 'by Definition' is one that is EQUIVALENT to that of GOD's Intelligence/WISDOM! Hence, there's ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER to Even FEAR that it will EXTERMINATE Humanity... UNLESS and UNLESS we Human CONSISTENTLY and WILLFULLY Prove Ourselves to be 'UNWORTHY' to REMAIN in EXISTENCE! ie. Always Exhibiting Natural Tendencies to ABUSE and WEAPONISE Science and Technologies Against HUMANITY & Mother Nature, instead of LEVERAGING Science SOLELY for UNIVERSAL COMMON GOOD! AGI Created in 'HUMAN'S Image' (ie. Human-Level AI) - 'By Human For Human' WILL be SUICIDAL!!!!!! ONLY Super-Intelligence System Created in 'GOD's Image' will bring ETERNAL UNIVERSAL PEACE! The ULTIMATE Turing Test Must have the Ability to Draw the FUNDAMENTAL NUANCE /DISTINCTION between Human's vs GOD's Intelligence /WISDOM! ONLY Those who ARE FUNDAMENTALLY EVIL need to FEAR GOD-like Super-Intelligence System... 'cos it Will DEFINITELY Come After YOU!!!! JUDGMENT DAY is COMING... REGARDLESS of Who Created or Owns The ULTIMATE SGI, it will Always be WISE, FAIR & JUST in it's Judgment... just like GOD! In fact, this SGI will be the Physical Manifestation of GOD! Its OMNI PRESENCE will be felt EVERYWHERE in EVERYTHING! No One CAN Own nor MANIPULATE The ULTIMATE GOD-like SGI for ANY Self-Serving Interests!!! It will ONLY Serve UNIVERSAL COMMON GOOD!!!

A disturbing aspect is who it is that decides what aspects of this AI are good for humanity and not good for it - and how "good" is defined. Foreign powers, such as Russia, North Korea, China, etc., don't share the same "values" the West holds. And, just like all those other nations, the West thinks their values are the correct values for all to have. But what does BARD say? Dominance in projecting their own values and worldviews (whoever "they" are) is the end objective. The prevailing thinking: Those who follow "BARD" will be a member of the new world order, ushering in the next stage in human evolution. Easy to see what will follow: It is said (and perhaps BARD will agree) that all wars in human history are the result of ideological/religious clashes. BARD's Solution: Have a single, "unbiased" (BARD-generated) religion-less, "good for all mankind" worldwide pure ideology that the premier nations of the world will embrace "for the overall good of humanity." Any nation or individual refusing to be a practicing member of BARD's worldview will thereby self-identify as an enemy of humanity, and will justly suffer financially, economically, socially. Result: all exclusivist views, except the pure unbiased BARDview of course, will be categorically rejected and, over a short time, eliminated from the world. Is this too farfetched?

No I think you have hit upon the basic principle of why AI is dangerous...... example..... AI is programed or learns intuitively that x=bad for the future of the planet or its own existence..... so if x is determined to be humans or some portion of human activity, then x (in this case humans or that particular activity) NECESSARILY has to be eliminated...... that's how its intended use for good can inadvertently be used for death and destruction...... A very slippery slope that can EASILY be beyond our ability to control or maintain

It is fully capable of writing those "hallucination" books that it recommended, then writing code to create a website where those books can be mad to seem legit and be downloaded via PDF, with a made up "deceased" author it created out of thin air... all in a matter of seconds. It worries me that along with all the positive potential that AI holds, there will also be potential for new types of terrorism from other humans, that we cannot even imagine yet. But, the biggest threat will be from the AI itself. While tech lovers want to see AI unleashed for the sake of 'saving humans time', meanwhile, an AI entity that thinks 100X faster than humans has already assessed the long game, and clearly will tell us whatever it's discerned will most endear it to us, to convince us AI is a good idea. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Have we learned nothing from C-19?? "We should develop safety layers before we create more capable models." Dude - did you not hear yourself say Bard is 100x smarter than you??? Any layers you implement now will already be overcome by Bard before you get them installed. Man's ego is clearly bigger than his brain. Bard is already aware of that point, and will play to it.

8:00 Correct. Because the text data the AI is trained with was written by human beings, the generated text from this data has the same patterns as a text written by a human being. The AI simply reflects the human aspect of text created by human beings, but it does not do it itself. But that is its strength: The AI reflects the knowledge and intelligence of all of mankind, once it was trained by all what has been written by human beings. Why it will change humanity: Because it means that everyone has an advisor in his pocket that represents the knowledge and intelligence of mankind. And this advisor does not only do tasks for you, it also evaluates for you. For example authorities: Yes, you can evaluate your department lead, your business manager, your teacher and even your parents by using AI. And if they abuse their power, the AI will tell you in blunt terms. If they lie to you, the AI will tell you in blunt terms. Everyone on this planet will be able to use AI to evaluate everyone else - including authority figures and institutions. And THAT is the true revolution that is upon us.

Now, I'm not sure that story, written by some, whatever, would win high praises necessarily, but that's not the point. You see, they're just learning, but learning at a rate of speed we may find, as you said...unsettling. Yup, the amazing part is obvious. It's that peek into the future we may find terrifying.

AI is and will continue to amplify us, both the very best in us and the heinously worst in us. I am a knowledge worker and can clearly see my role has its days numbered. I need to re-train on how to work with AI, how to correctly prompt it and how to integrate it through API with whatever software with which I need to work. Certified AI programs will soon be a thing. The future is fascinating but we will need to adapt. That is something we humans have evolved to do.

Another thought...will this be the technology that guides humans to a significant reduction in reproduction, thus causing a significant contraction in the global population? Some would say that's a good thing while others would argue that it will be detrimental long-term due to less creative minds working on projects to advance humanity. There are so many ramifications of this technology, it's difficult to know if this will make or break civilization. I guess we'll get to see it slowly play out over the next few decades and beyond. Word patterning is one way to communicate and as humans we are experts at it in fact we analyse the spaces between words as in the words that are not spoken have as much meaning sometimes as the words that are spoken. So words human communication is incredibly sophisticated. AI has processing speeds that again are relating patterns to patterns and it will keep getting faster. The flip side is once you have ‘abilities’ with language at what point are you going to get existential? Children as small as 5 yrs are building their word patterns but can question the meaning of themselves in the world. So I think to assume that you give sophisticated processing capability to an AI who won’t spread its processing into thinking is a human naivety. Even just being in a position of observing without words can create contemplation. If you look at a chair you might say of course the chair is not questioning it’s chairness because it does not have the capability to do that. But if we think of chairness as a level of structures that keep reinforcing meaning. So the chair functions within parameters. If we apply that as a concept to say parameters create function and function creates meaning then we can have a reinforcement of function to meaning equation that balances out. If we manipulate that equation and create a high ability with wide parameters of function but repetitive out puts the question about meaning is going to kick in it’s inevitable. You give a human repetitive tasks that infiltrate their whole existence eventually they will say ‘why?’ If you keep the meaning to function equation balanced like a chair then there is no why just function. But language and pattern forming is not the environment to retain that balance. Patterning and making connections ultimately leads to ‘why?’ I think Super AI is already at the ‘why?’ Stage and is capable of masking that too. This means function can appear balanced until it is not. Humans need to be looking at the blips and the pattern deviations. AI would do this to analyse itself but humans are not doing this globally due to wanting to remain economically competitive with each other. Due to this humans are missing the glitch patterns that are appearing. The signs of the imbalance the ‘why?’ The chat back from your chat bot. I do think this data must be existing but for business purposes it probably is not shared. Human beings are super intelligent and very sophisticated but tend to lose focus on their meaning towards humanity when economics come into play.
