I like this woman, she is speaking for herself and not letting the reporter put the words she wants to hear in her mouth. Reporter, echoing the standard psychological dogma: "Do you think at some level you just shut down, almost as if it was happening to another person?" Hostage, with a bit of an impatient look: "No. It was happening to me." She recognized what the reporter was doing and just set the record straight.

Thwy are avalaible for the public. If you e-mail they also send you these documents. There are also dozens of documents of rape and abuse by Israëli IDF soldiers within the UN and Amnesty. They have many on rape with Palestinian hostages, including children. And these children are now adults but they were underage when they were abducted. And they were abducted. There hasnt been one single court trial. Not one! Some arent charged with anything and some are charged and without trial jailed. And there families werent aloud to visit once. To punish these children they were left without light for weeks on end. They were told not to sleep for days. They were hit and beaten and raped. They were denied food for days and then given just enough to survive. Like fellow jews Finkelstein. It is not about being pro Israël or pro Palestinian. It is about pro truth, pro fact and pro justice. Now think about why werw there so many meetings about Israël and Palestine within UN? Why are the border of Israël still not recognized by the UN. Why is Israël facing an international court trial for not a few but hundreds of war crimes? There is proof everywhere. You just have to listen and see.

One of most biased interviews I ever heard. What to expect from western media. The fact that she was not tortured or sexually assaulted was danced around as if they wished it happened just to make a case to make her horrible experience worst. Putting words into the interviewees mouth, trying to make the situation more sensational, as if being kidnapped alone is not bad enough. It happened, but that she (and as far as she knows) nobody else was drugged to "look happy" and friendly with the captors. I was listening to one of the Palestinian women taken captive by israeli soldier where they tortured her, she had a breast feeding 9 month old kid, they neither let her or her husband go, continuously questioning her about hamas, to which she said I don't know but they said you're a liar, they used to hit her, many days held her arms tied to her back and hit her in this condition, took her hijab off, psychology torture her by shooting in the air and telling her that they killed her husband, and then ask about hamas, for the first days she was the only women in all the men, then she was taken to a room where there were other women the youngest being 15 years old, they (women there) told her that here they were sexually assaulted and raped, and after 54 days of continuous torture she was released, now that was the interview of Palestinian woman and this of an israeli held captive by hamas. Getting back to friendly lines during active combat is a difficult thing to do under such circumstances. The apartheid state of Israel had warned all freed hostages not to speak about any positive treatment afforded to them by Hamas. They were too worried about how barbaric Israel looked when all of their released Palestinian hostages were beaten, not fed, left naked and came out with broken bones. All the videos we saw of the freed Israeli hostages showed them to be smiling, thanking their captors, in good spirits, and when forgetting to shake their hands, turning back and then shaking their hands and thanking them.

This is sad no human should go through this. I hope we are fair enough to also report with same sympathy and show what kind of suffering Palestinian women in Gaza also go through. I wonder if this reporter has the courage to interview a mother who lost her child in Gaza or even the West Bank not even recently but many years ago before October 7th even occurred . I wonder if we can stand in front of the mirror and tell ourselves we are not biased.

I tell you what needs to change: Palestinians (as well as other Arabs) should stop making a condition on the Israelis: stop existing, or you will not know peace. Guess what... of the two conditions, Israelis see "stop existing," as a little bit less compatible with life than having to wage war. They return war for war, and they win. Thank G-d Do not forget that out of 9 million Israeli citizens, only 7 million are Jewish. The other 2 million are various Arab ethnic groups: Druze, Bedouin, settled Muslim Arabs, settled Christian Arabs. Stop comparing Jews to Nazis... its intentional and meant to hurt Jewish people... plus its not an apt comparison. Why not compare them to someone/thing more analogous and present-day? For instance, perhaps compare them to a contemporary like Bashar al-Assad (in literally Israel's next door neighbor in Syria) and how he bombed and targeted his own civilian people and destroyed entire cities just to spite them... and even used chemical weapons. He literally killed over half a million people and displace millions upon millions of civilians that, to this day, are still displaced all around the world. And the atrocities there continued from the 2010's till present times in 2020 before a ceasefire was established.

Gaza is not a state. Israel and the US has prevented the Palestinians from having their own state for decades. The Palestinian territories are under military occupation by the apartheid state if Israel for more than 5 decades and Gaza has been under a brutal blackade for almost 20 years. Women, children and innocent men are being taken hostage in the dark of night weekly and sometimes daily in the occupied West Bank. Peaceful protests only resulted in more slaughter of innocent people.

Sounds like she got a taste of what it feels like to be a civilian in Gaza. At least she survived the bombing. Sorry about his mother and her sister. One thing I am impressed with is how comfortable most Israelis seem to be with the state of things in the country, the occupation, the plight of the Palestinians day to day, apartheid. They are aghast that some Palestinians want to resist the status quo and that there are barbaric fanatics among them. I guess the government has told them it is safe to go anywhere, put up a kibbutz, have a music festival.
