The Palestinians are Semitic, so are the Iranians, and the rest of the Arabs are too. It amazes me how Jews can constantly complain about the "anti-Semitism" of others, while at the same time promoting so much hate and venom towards their Semetic cousins. You can't defeat the demons of antisemitism externally when those demons reside within you.

As a former DJ who spent decades involved in the festival and electronic music scene, I am full of emotion imagining the utter devastation wrought on this day. Believe it or not, but Jews were not looked upon very favourably in the USA and other western countries - particularly Germany and France - until fairly recently (perhaps from some sort of guilt complex) but all that has now changed, possibly for political reasons (the Soviets supported the Arabs, and the Americans supported the Jews during the establishment of the Israeli state back in the Forties, etc).

Thank you Natalie for sharing your experiences on October 7th and afterwards. I am an American combat veteran who lost comrades in battle, yet I have not been able to bring myself to watch the videos of the attacks beyond those that have been streamed on mainstream news outlets. I've listened to commentary by those like Douglas Murray and others who have viewed the raw Hamas videos, and who have gone in person to the kibbutzim where the slaughter took place. That is terrifying enough for me. Your calm first hand account of what it was like to flee from the Nova site on the morning of October 7th has given me a new perspective on this horrific event, of the fear, confusion and desperation you experienced. I understand your emotions about feeling safer as a Jew in Israel than on the streets of your home in New York. As an American Gentile supporter of Israel, I find that very sad and frankly humiliating that our country of supposed tolerance and inclusivity does not universally support and defend those values. The sick doctrine of the Matrix of intersectionality. An outgrowth of Marxism, or neo-marxism. Basically, Jews were _more often than not_ recognized as victims of mass violence AND SICK CONSPIRACY THEORIES. Most of the West believed that Israel could not be victorious against multiple Arab Nations attacking. But when Israel survived and became more successful, and when Israel won victories when they were attacked, over and over, especially in 1967, the Left redefined Israel as an imperialist oppressor state. That means, an arm of the USA (at a time when the Weather Underground and other radical groups were open to overthrow the United States with terror bombings and murdering cops). I frankly did not understand most of this before 10/07. I too saw Palestinians as a tiny isolated minority -- which came from Soviet Union KGB propaganda -- and not as they really saw themselves, a radical faction of the Islamic Umma, the global community intent on seizing control of all lands and people on Earth, making everywhere Sharia compliant.

As a South African. Most Christians stand and prayer for the Israeli people and the Jewish nation around the world. Whenever I see a negative headline about what happened on the 7th of October 2023 I never read or listen to it. Because I know what our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ wants us to do. It is to pray for the peace of Israel and Jerusalem.

I agree wholeheartedly with this comment. As a Christian I understand that we are to love and pray for them. When my husband and I were married young in 1963. We were going to church and we had a speaker come to stay a week to talk about his experience in the holocaust and his conversion as a Jew at that time during the holocaust. He watched Christian’s be knocked down with gun butts over and over for not rejecting Jesus and being tortured for it. It’s a long but short story. We had him at our house for dinner and got to know him. He came two times to speak at our church. He spoke in the mornings and evenings and a regular Sunday morning and evening. That’s where we learned about things about loving Jewish people. It was wonderful to listen to him and I will never forget that time. That’s when I became aware of Gods plan. He has helped me has helped Israel with what’s going on. The fact that soldiers have brought back people from being captured and they are not tortured. God Loves Israel and Christians and wants others to know Him.

I always said since I moved to Europe from Israel around 20 years ago, if anything happens I would rather be in Israel no matter what. I share the same mindset, I feel safer in Israel than in London today. It sounds completely alien to people who have not lived in Israel but that’s our reality post 7th October. Contemplating taking my foreign born family and going home to Israel. Even in time of war. Nowhere is safe for us but in Israel. Thank you for sharing your story and for your strength and dignity.

" JEREMIAH 7 God has terms to claim the birthright. Did Israel obey the terms? No. Zionists chose to follow brutal, violent, genocidal European colonialism rather than follow God in 1948. They massacred, stole belonging, homes, sand land, and forced existing people into the prison of Gaza. Zionists defied God. It continues today. They're criminals and murderers. Genetic studies show that Palestinians are the descendants of the ancient Hebrew people that never left the land. They were massacred, stolen from, and forced into ghetto prison of Gaza because they were not European. But they are Hebrew. The 1948 Nakba was a racist, criminal, terrorist campaign to serve European immigrants, funded by Gr Britain colonialism. "Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place. " JEREMIAH 22:3. This is God. This is the goodness of God. From a Catholic in the UK, thanks for telling your story and for your courage. May you and your life continue to be a blessing and you and your loved ones be safe. G-d bless Israel. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

I visited Israel in January and there's an incredible indoor memorial to the Nova festival at the Tel Aviv fairgrounds. All the remains of their encampments, clothing, personal belongings, burnt out cars.... All set up inside. Death hits you in the face as you enter and the emotions are overwhelming. Nothing you see in the news outside Israel, shows the true face of evil as this shows. So many young and vibrant lives lost. May their memories be for a blessing and forever remembered.
