On the off chance you read this, how feasible is this on dry pavement or a sidewalk?

@electric_things_ Yes. Your video is the first ive seen of controlled rear sliding. I can approximate something similar with kick scooters that have a rear handbrake, but its underwhelming. Ideally powering through it so you keep moving is the goal, but i dont know how much power you need to make that happen reliably.
@electric_things_16 күн бұрын
@@niahanabishi5954 it could be done but would take some skill and practice to be able to! I can drift this pretty good on dirt but that’s because it’s easy to spin the tires to get into the drift motion. But on dry pavement the main issue would be that the full power is in dual motor so both the tires spin and then also has electric brakes witch just doesn’t work well. but taking the electric breaks off and running just the back wheel I think it could be done! Just would have to hold the front brake and give it gas tell the back tire breaks loose into a burn out and you just kinda do rolling burnout into drift if that makes scens!

@@niahanabishi5954I currently have it taken apart to make build video on and I got new none electric breaks that I think I’ll be able to do some drifts on the street/ wheelie with it now once it’s built back up!

@@electric_things_ i see, yeah. It seems very specifically engineered to NOT do what Im trying to. So the hypothetical best case scenario is something that's a high powered single motor to the rear wheel, and analog brakes. Which doesnt exist commercially, because the customer base wants hill climbing and lifetime more than sideways potential.

Just takes some practice! Kinda hard to explain it over text, but I would say when your rear end is sliding out try to keep your weight on the opposite side on the front end keeping the back with less weight so it’s lighter and easier to spin the back tire!

Ah i understand now. The snow melted away today, so I'll have to wait for the next snowfall. Thank you very much, it looks so fun!@@electric_things_
